Beach Hotels in Yanam

Lovely oasis of calm, boutique hotel in the heart of the White Town. We stayed for 2 nights. We dined at the restaraunt on the first night, the food and ambience was excellent. We also dined twice at their sister restaraunt” La Villa” which had a 7 course taster menu that was excellent and great value for money. They are also affiliated with the bar/restaraunt ”The Spot” which we really enjoyed visiting during the day for a drink and spot of lunch in a nice courtyard. Breakfast at Villa Shanti was also good and the staff were all very polite and friendly. Our room was charming and comfortable. We felt the roof terrace area could have been a more attractive area to sit out on than it was it was quite basic and felt a bit neglected but otherwise we found the hotel a great place to stay.

The hotel is nestled in the French town part of Pondicherry which is within walking distance to the promenade and the numerous cafés and restraints scattered around. The staff are cordial, the place neat and spacious. The hotel does neither have a parking no area for cars nor facility for drivers. Overall an enjoyable stay.

wonderful experience.even though an early check in was not possible,we were checked in on time and Richmond hotel gave us an free upgradation.Staffs are professionals.Hospitality and service was very good.very clean and aesthetically pleasing heritage vibes.Instagrammable.(I had already read in many reviews that its not possible to have an early check in hotels in pondicherry&it came true).

Good stay near the beach was very comfortable with the service. Room was convenient and it was near the beach
