Great
Stayed for two nights. The breakfast was very good. The room was large, comfortable and clean. There was a large dining room and living room on the first floor, two bedrooms and a shared kitchen on the second floor. We were the only ones on the second floor on the first night. The second night, the guests on the third floor checked in very late at night. I felt the poor sound insulation of the old wooden house. There were homeless people staying in the public parking lot outside the house (not the hotel parking lot) for a long time, which was quite annoying. They didn't look like homeless people, but more like gang members, and they took turns staying there...
The hotel was convenient for exploring Eureka and Ferndale. It is close to a lot of good food options, though more on the fast food and quick service type places. Also close to the mall and Walmart so shopping was convenient. In terms of the actual hotel it was a really good option for our family. The rooms are large and clean, though slightly dated. The pool, hot tub, and workout equipment were all great. The pool is half indoors/half outdoor, which was great when it rained. Breakfast was free and had great variety.
I booked a larger 30-square-meter room, which was nice; I could easily unfold two large suitcases. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfast area was cramped and had limited seating, so someone brought the food to my room.
