I have used Doubletree Hilton in USA and this is much the same, including the cookie.
Hotel was pleasant enough for what it was. Comfortable bed and warm room. The shower wasn’t very hot but acceptable.
Breakfast was good but I thought £15 per night for car park a bit steep. Being next to the Sheffield United football ground I could understand the need to ration parking but this wasn’t a match day and there is not much close to attract drivers who might use the parking available.

My favourite hotel to stay in sheffield. Love the onsite parking, it is expensive to park but feels safe. But I appreciate the room cleanliness and the more modern feel than other Sheffield hotels

The location is very good, it only takes 10 minutes to get to the train station by taxi, and the price is very affordable! If you clean up the room in advance, you can check in early, and the bar is also good

Stayed here last night as my husband and I were attending the Paul Heaton gig at the Sheffield United ground. Perfect location for this. I understand the hotel isn’t very old so everything was pretty new. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom! Cookies on arrival which was a nice touch! I would have given 5 stars however the bar service was poor in terms of being understaffed for how many people were in. It was rammed and at one time there was only 1 x poor girl serving. This wouldn’t put me off staying again though. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there.

We had a lovely reception when we arrived by Kushboo who was very attentive to us. Provided us with an upgraded room for our loyalty and even though the cookies were in the oven, put two aside for us to collect later, even texting to make sure we were comfortable. Room was beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Breakfast staff very friendly and cheerful even though it was fairly busy. Overall two thumbs up- great stay and would definitely go back again
