"The hotel Wi-Fi wasn’t working so they couldn’t reset the keycards which meant I had a personal escort to my room with the master key every time I had to go back. The room itself was lovely and clean with a decent bed and good pillows, with windows overlooking the city. Breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold food on a buffet. The coffee was quite good too."

"I check the reviews before deciding to stay here. It’s a budget hotel, but parking is easy ( additional cost) and there’s an EV charger available, which was very convenient. It’s only a 10 mins walk to the cinema and there’s are plenty restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming."

"The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful as far as they could be. On the first day of our stay ( Christmas Day) there were parties going on and we had to go up several flights of stairs to get to the breakfast buffet. Everything was a little hard to find but the food was good when available. The ample grounds were an additional attraction as were the huge trees in the spacious garden. On Christmas Day there were lots of staff looking after the various parties.On the last day, however, ther was only one poor unfortunate waiter in attendance! He did his best but it was impossible for him to keep the buffet food items fully refreshed. He had to do this as well as clearing plates etc from tables. We thought that the lack of any other waiting staff was due to the unavailability of staff from the European Union. The bedroom facilities needed repairs which were unattended to. In particular, the control knob of the central heating radiator had fallen off and could not be replaced. The radiator was on night and day and also made an irritating noise through most of the night. We stayed three nights in the hotel from 24th to 27th December 2023. IN summary, we thought that the hotel could be restored to it's original splendour but would need a substantial investment to improve its standard. The once magnificent hotel seemed sadly neglected because of lack of investment. Otherwise the room was satisfactory. But sleep was difficult until we got more used to the noise at night. In summary, we thought that the hotel needed a lot of money spending on it to improve the facilities and make dure there were enough staff."

"Absolutely disgusting booked a room for 11th of April on the 1st of January only for this to be cancelled with no explanation at all but no rooms now available funny that! Booked this room as I am going to a concert only to then cancel within 6 days of when this event is due to take place. Tried to contact them got no answer. Why take people’s money only then to cancel within a 6 day period to find somewhere else. Disgraceful and not professional at all!!!"

"Reception and bar staff were great. Shared areas and our room were pristine, cleaning staff deserve extra kudos for that. The venue was really well placed, with meadowhall (and the travel interchange), centertainment, and the arena all within walking distance. I was really pleased to see a sign on reception indicating when they tested the fire alarm. Great for those with auditory issues."

"We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, a little dated, but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the city centre, but it’s still easily walkable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, great value and we’d happily stay here again."

"Ive been staying at this hotel now for the past 5 weeks Mon-Fri as I work close by the hotel itself is located close to the M1 on the complex there is an Asda express and a few mins walk there is an Aldi shopping centre the rooms are always cleaned to a high standard and the staff members we have encountered are always welcoming and helpful never had an issue and will highly recommend Shout out to Daniel on reception with food recommendations but a poor football choice"
