We had a last minute change to this countryside hotel. It's conveniently close to the Safari zoo and Badaling great wall. Perfect location for families with kids. We loved the quiet countryside view. The two full size beds was big and comfortable enough for a family with adults and children. We also love the rooftop where we can see stars when the balcony lights were turned off. Some of our takeaway food from the restaurant was not tasty so make sure to bring extra food for the stay. Otherwise the stay was perfectly comfortable and relaxing.

The staff are kind and helpful, breakfast is only Chinese. Everything was excellent except room cleaning is not doing during the stay. Shared living room and little pool were very satisfying for the kids.

There were not many people in the off-season. The room was clean and tidy. It seemed that some plumbing was being repaired in the village, but there was no impact on the yard. The housekeeper also informed us in advance that if there was any impact, we could change rooms. The service was very enthusiastic. Free shuttle service to the Great Wall was available. There were also a few cute big dogs at the front desk. I thought they were huskies at first, but the store owner told me they were Alaskans [burst into laughter] I really like this place.
