We visited for Easter Sunday lunch and had a beautiful meal. There was so much choice and as a vegetarian I was impressed with a separate vegetarian/vegan menu with great options which was given as standard instead of having to ask for it. I went for the teriyaki noodles which were so good! The service was friendly and attentive, there was a nice atmosphere, and in a lovely touch the Easter Bunny was doing the rounds giving out chocolate eggs to the delight of the kids (and big kids!) Would really recommend a visit and we’ll be back.

Went for Sunday dinner 13/4/25 and share the spicy prawn starter with my other half followed by probably the best roast beef dinner I’ve ever had! The restaurant had a lively atmosphere and the staff are very pleasant and attentive. Great value for money.

Was here for Easter dinner with family. The food and staff where amazing, shout out to a young man called Cain, nothing was to much hassle for him and had a smile each time he went by. Would recommend this place to my friends and will be back again.

Outstanding on all fronts … the staff here are absolutely amazing , the very best . Zach is an absolute diamond and so helpful attentive and caring about his customers . We have eaten here a number of times and the food is outstanding , staff are amazing and atmosphere compliments all I’ve previously mentioned . Returning customers and will be back . Thanks zach and team .

I recently had my sons confirmation in the Lagan Suite, from the moment we arrived the staff were extremely helpful and honestly the most efficient I have ever seen which appeared to be due to the man who was managing everything. Nothing was too much trouble and when I had a request, it was addressed immediately. When we were served our main, I asked my sister if she wanted me to request extra gravy, as I looked up one of the staff were placing extra gravy on the table. Anticipating the needs of customers makes the whole experience so much nicer. I asked for no cheese on my sons starter and that is what I got. The food was lovely, the venue beautifully decorated and staff exceptional. I cannot recommend the Ivanhoe enough.

My partner and I went to the mothers day carvery and it was excellent from start to finish. Reception.,waiters waitress, management, owner and 2 chefs all where pleasant owner made time and went round tables for chat and chefs too. I was hungry so after soup, think I nearly tried all 20 starters ha. Beef was beautiful and venues perfect. I stole partners desert as she was on diet ha..my excuse. Then relaxed with cupa tea. 5 courses later well worth it and the setting was so tastefully thought I was going into wedding reception. I will definitely be back for another carvery with family next time maybe stay over. Thanks again Andrew and Donna

Got married at The Ivanhoe July 2023 and had a great experience and have been back many times since including throwing a baby shower for my best friend and for this years mothers day carvery. My mum is in a wheelchair and everyone is always so accommodating. Shout out to Wallace and Paula who have looked after me and my family and friends at every occassion. The food is always a 10 out of 10 and every corner is spotlessly clean!. Highly recommend for all your family events and Sunday lunches in the bistro are the best especially with the sun starting to show to sit with a cold drink in the garden is blissful! Can't wait to have all our future celebrations here!
