We were invited here for something to eat on the Sunday of the Belfast Marathon. We had to put it into the sat nav as we aren't locals. We arrived about 5:30pm and the place was very busy. I think we got the last parking space and when we left about two hours later our space was taken so fast we had a hard time manoeuvring out as the folks were just bad mannered. We sat at a cramped table and the place was full of drinkers enjoying themselves. One waiter passed us several times with two pints of beer on a tray as he couldn't locate the customers. After passing us a few times over several minutes he just gave up. The food menu was ok and I went for beans on toast as a mains. This included a poached (fried) egg and this was what intrigued me. My food arrived (like the rest of the food (6 diners)) after far too long a wait and nobody bothered to drop by to say why it was so very slow. We didn't see a lot of food going out as we waited. Service was friendly and the singers were terrible at singing and ok at playing instruments. We could hardly talk such was their volume and folks having to shout at each other to be heard. My Heinz baked beans came on toasted bread with no butter, which would have helped immensely, and not further seasoned, and cool on a cold plate by the time I began to eat. The egg I really liked and it was poached sadly it was cold and looked fried. The yolk was a bit runny and I did enjoy it but the meal ain't £8 worth. Absolutely no excuse for the food being cold either. Others got chips with their burger mains all from a factory. This place doesn't need chefs just folks who can deep fry and assemble a plate. Teaching the importance of hot plates for hot food would be good. I wouldn't return for free it was pretty lousy. But what made it one star was the £8 dessert of Eton Mess. Trading standards would see it as miselling. It had no strawberry nor any other fruit like say raspberry. It was a small bowl of whipped single cream with a small amount of cheap factory made meringue broken in and a red sugary cheap probably artificially coloured syrup meant to look strawberry. I guess 50 pence worth in total. So no real strawberries were hurt in the making of this rubbish. I loathe being ripped off and this done rightly culture which pervaded Northern Ireland still persists. Never again. Avoid.

The first and Only 10 out of 10 I've ever given!! Reception and welcome was the perfect start to our stay with 2 warm and friendly ladies on the desk - nice friendly banter and jokes. And it just got even better from there .... Room was superb with fantastic little extras provided and attention to detail superbly called out for us. Lunch in the lounge was outstanding with a free Coctail/Drink provided for us - every little touch of class just set the scene. The menu and food was top notch and we sat in a great little spot beside the door with 2 couches. Great find by me with the wife trying to take credit for it later - just in case she reads this, it was ME that found that spot :) Entertainment came on very early which was fantastic for us as a pre warm up for the event we were attending that evening. Great set by the regular entertainer with every song given his own personal touches. Now for Breakfast. Holy Lord! The best breakfast I've ever had in a Hotel - hands down! The Biggie Fry was just expertly done and the wife's was delicious too 😋 Have visited hundreds of hotels across, Ireland, the UK, Europe and further afield in the States and Australia. Who would have thought that the best of them all was just 9 miles away from me in North Belfast 🤣🤣. Honestly just the best Hotel experience ever - I mean I cannot finish without co.plimenting the staff. They were just something else, the loveliest 1 Day and evening made in heaven. Can't wait to go back!!

Very enjoyable couple of days, very friendly reception staff. There is no tea/coffee facilities in the room, you order room service & this works really well within minutes you have a lovely pot of tea & cappuccino bought to your room. Room clean, warm & comfy beds, my only niggle is there is no heating in the bathroom so it was quite cold when showering, a heated towel rail would be good. Evening meal & breakfast were both delicious. Staff are lovely here very friendly and welcoming, a great asset to the hotel, Zoe was a real sweetheart nothing too much trouble. It really does make a difference to your stay when the staff are so helpful and friendly. Tayto & water in the room another lovely touch. Rituals bathroom products provided (need to buy some now!) Will we be back? Yes 💯%.

We got to stay in the suite which was incredible a very luxurious room! The staff were very friendly and made us feel so welcomed We loved the hotel bar, it was by far the nicest hotel bar we’ve been in with a very lively atmosphere, the live music was great, cocktails were so delicious as was the food! The location is great, in a quiet area and only 10minute drive from the city centre.

He was so speedy and efficient, this man deserves a promotion! We decided to stay the night. Room was comfortable with all amenities provided and breakfast the next morning was delicious with a wide variety to choose from.

One of the bouncers grabbed my partner and pulled him outside because “he looked at him in a strange way”, which I don’t think is fair. Staff laughed in his face when he tried to explain. Extremely Poor customer service would not recommend, rudest staff I have ever encountered.

Went in on spec with a friend to see if we could get a quick meal. We were told off by unpleasant restaurant receptionist for turning up without booking. Fine, we weren't that bothered. Just try saying , "oh I'm really sorry but we're booked out...we could do a table for later possibly if that's any good...". Fairly standard stuff for anyone working in "hospitality". So management, try training your staff in the basics of hospitality. And don't worry, we'll not bother calling again. You do have competitors.

We were a party of 24 for Xmas party and the staff could not have been more welcoming, food was lovely no complaints but the staff made the experience. Janette looked after us all night, she went over and above, she is an absolute credit to the hotel. Thank you
