We booked the whole place for the guests who attended my sister’s wedding. The attitude of the staffs were pathetic. So many incidents that chizzed us off. For example, we as the wedding host, we need to get ourselves ready soon so that we can go to the wedding venue. I was asking for a shower place to shower so that my makeup artist can doll me up, and for me to go over the wedding venue hosting our guests and ensure the setup was in place. Since our room wasn’t ready, the manager offered me to take a “cold” shower in the toilet located in front of the karaoke room. I said sure, as I thought it was a basic setup without water heating system. But when I entered the toilet, I then only realised that the manager was suggesting me to shower with a BIDET. It was not a shower room, it was literally a small toilet with a bidet. Is this how a manager managing request of a customer who has booked the whole entire resort? Even if the customer didnt book the whole place, every customer would deserve a little bit more respect, and effort from the customer service to fulfil this request! Such huge resort and yet you are offering your customer showering with a BIDET! Not only that, they promised to clean up the room for us, the main host, as they are well aware of the rush and request of the host. However, they didn’t manage to deliver their promise. Instead, a smaller guest room was ready prior to ours. I rejected to use the bidet to shower, and asked for second option, the next option from the manager was: talk to your own guest to borrow the room. His room is ready. Oh ya-the manager didn’t even bothered to provide me a towel and shampoo, I need to specifically request for it. Not only that, at 1230 pm, the groom and my husband received a call to sort out payment in the resort. When they arrived at the guard house, the security guard prohibited them going in, saying the resort is not open yet. My husband then said, it was the staff who wanted them over to sort out payment. The guard rudely reponded: you call the staff, I will ask him. Hello?? Shouldn’t this security guard call the staff directly? Why do you need a customer prove themselves? All in all- probably the place has the best in class surrounding, but pathetic customer service. For them it’s all about the money, charging you for a 5 star hotel rate, but giving you a 2 star hotel service.
