NUNCA MAS I don't usually write reviews, but this time I have to make a huge exception. I've been in more than 15 countries and hundreds of hotels, and the situation I'v got at this hotel is unprecedented and truly worrying. I booked for one night because I had an important dinner last Saturday and arrived at the hotel in a rush around 9:30 pm. I was asked for my ID (all good) to get the room key. I was asked about ID of my companion, who was collecting the luggage from the car, and I was asked for their ID, to which I replied that I didn't have it at that moment, but that I would provide it later. Once I received the key, while I was heading to the room with my companion, we were followed by Mohamed, who pursued us and invaded our space, treating us like criminals and speaking to us in a despotic, arrogant, and inconsiderate manner. Moreover, this guy named Mohamed wrote a room number on the key card that doesn't exist, 212, and made me waste another 20 minutes finding the assigned room, which was actually 211 B. This is completely unacceptable. I'll just say that I didn't call the police because of the urgency of my situation, and I didn't want to take legal action to avoid wasting any more time that I needed at that moment. They won't have the opportunity to get this situation with me because I will never again book at a hotel that allows this kind of treatment to their customers. This hotel is just far for being 5-Star establishment, and a"
Hotel Rural la Marmita de Ahlam

Hostal la Costa
Hotel Boutique Molino de Enmedio
"We stayed at Hotel Boutique Molino de Enmedio for a week and it was absolutely great. Excellent rooms, spacious, excellent sanitary facilities (separate toilet, sink and walk-in shower) and importantly: good beds. Breakfast was well organised with plenty of choice. We had dinner several times, provided by the host. Delicious!!! The weather in mid-September was about 6-7 degrees colder in Huéneja than in Almería on the beach. (21-28 degrees) Approx. 215 km from Malaga Airport. Distance to Almería beach approx. 90 km. Also to Granada approx. 100 km. Easy to do with cruise control on, because the Autovia is not busy. All in all, a great stay at Marc & Luz and highly recommended."
Hotel Neptuno by on Group
"My husband and I stayed for the weekend in a very comfortable apartment with views of the pool, no detail was missing. The hotel has beautiful decoration and pool. The buffet is very good, the kitchen is very good. I would repeat for sure. The only thing that would improve are the pillows and at the buffet dinners a little more variety in cold dinners and fish, otherwise everything is good."
Hotel AR Golf Almerimar
"After reading the negatives reviews, we felt we needed to write our own review. When arriving at the hotel, the surroundings were beautiful and the hotel looked appealing. The entrance was stunning and tastefully decorated. Most staff members spoke limited English but they tried their best. The house keeper even resorted to google translate to ensure our needs were adhered to. On entering our room, we were amazed at how spacious it was and we had a view on the pool. The lunch menu was good and the evening meal had lots of choice. Each night there is a different theme and all were delicious! If you come as a family, the is a kids club throughout the day and you can feel safe in the vicinity of the hotel. The pool is a great size and has a shallow end and a deep end where you dive in. If you are wanting a relaxing holiday, then this is definitely for you. There is a marina, across road and to the right of the hotel. This comprises of lovely restaurants and little shops to look round. Please be aware they close between the hours of 2-5pm for Spanish siesta time. We had a fantastic stay here and we highly recommend you visit. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ "
Alegria Fenix Family
"Awful experience. We were made to feel worthless from the day we arrived. Reception staff are slow, bar staff are hiy and miss. We watched the lifeguard assault an 8 year old child. The entertainment staff only have their favourites. Most importantly the food was disgusting, we ate out every single day because the food had very small selection and was not worth risking the food poisoning. The building is dirty and dated, the sun beds are disgusting and have not been cleaned for months. One of the worst hotels I've EVER stayed in!"
AR Almerimar
"Just arrived home after a weeks stay at this hotel family ages between 11-63. 5 adults 2 children . Hour transfer from airport. First impressions were ok but looked dated , lots greenery hanging inside. Very very hot no air con in reception area lots of seating . Check in slow , room small but great air con and most rooms at both sides of the hotel have pool and sea views , only the front doesnt which overlooks the golf course . Bathroom ok shower above bath but a saloon style door into a toilet didn’t appeal to me and the woodwork at bottom was swelling with the water. Again all clean just dated . Beds comfy . Balcony great . Maid service daily clean bedding towels . Pool area great 2 big outdoor freeform pools with waterslides , aqua fit daily was excellent everyone was involved the entertainment team put lots effort in. Pools open from early morning until 8pm . Plenty loungers although not much shade . Lots space for lounges though no sunbed wars . Pool gets busy all morning thdn at 2 closes until 5. During this time no lifeguards and no slides but the pool is so peaceful. It’s like a completely different pool. Think they all siesta usually just the English swimming . Thdn come 5 it’s madness but still enjoyable until 8pm! Entertainment at night shocking - mainly due to all been Spanish so didn’t know what was going on as mainly acting things out or flying paper aeroplanes around ( very strange) or looked it as we didn’t knkw what was happening. the dancing bits etc were good. If have younger children then they would t understand the kids clubs or what to do. 1 restaurant for whole hotel very noisy but typical European all inclusive , choice of everything can always find something to eat , lots fish dishes . Plenty salad puddings . Little land train takes you around to the marina for 4€ each. Location excellent gate access next pool at back of hotel across a promanade onto beach . Promanade excellent and 10 min walk to marina where shops restaurants. Couid hire paddle boards and water equipment by the hotel too . Weather amazing 35oc every day not a cloud in the sky august 2023. All in all we had a great relaxing week here in the Spanish sun but it’s not a 4star I’d say 3! It’s the pool and location made up for the dated hotel look and other negatives. I would recommend this hotel for families but be aware that it is very Spanish and lots of Spanish families holiday here themselves. Think I counted 7 English families in our weeks stay. "
