Convenient location, friendly staff, clean and well-equipped rooms, and enjoyable breakfast. Some guests appreciated the quirky old building and courtyard view. No notable disadvantages mentioned.

Room was comfortable and clean. No breakfast due to no staff. House keeper bless him was apologetic, but said they were short staffed and manager would be a while. Other customers left, after a long wait we finally managed to speak to manager, who was really not bothered about loosing customers, very disappointing customer service.

The Old Bell was a delightful stay. They carried my bags up and down the stairs. Everything that was needed was in the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!

早餐明明10磅,卻連續三次收15磅。要不是最後一次看了他們的官網看到價格要回來了5磅,前台會一直裝傻充愣。其他的服務員態度都很友善。

I was impressed by the size of the room. It had a warm, cosy atmosphere and felt clean and fresh. I liked the beverage tray, particularly the complementary water and the large sachets of hot chocolate. There was a separate toilet and bathroom with pump dispenser toiletries. The bed was very comfortable and the blackout blinds and secondary glazing ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I believe the inn is an asset to the town and I feel privileged to be able to stay in such an old building. There was a great view of the morning and evening light from the bathroom window, if I top-toed! There are interesting shops in Warminster, if you fancy a browse. The train station is probably less than a five minute stroll.

I was told on arrival that I had the cheapest room. No 219. Nothing like poverty shaming to make you feel welcome.! £79 Double so I guess it is what it is. Functional, not uncomfortable and quiet. Good breakfast no supplement for eggs benedict, free newspapers and affable waiting staff. .Free off street parking. Bottled water,Nice biscuits. I don't however feel that cheap should mean sub standard. The room was FULLY airconditiond,on a chilly night. Original metal windows warped and gaping with cracked panels, so could not be closed. Clearly this has been left for years and yet can be rectified. So no direct appeal to address it would have had any effect presumably others have tried in the past. Hence the crack when someone may have tried to force it Kettle lead out of reach of the socket., whichever hard surface you try. This is not user friendly for anyone with the slightest mobility issues. It is also potentially hazardous. Surely this has been raised in person over the years but again has not been addrrssed. What could have been a perfectly satisfactory , reasonably priced stay was marred by these two annoyances

Nice coffee and cake but poor customer service so we won't be returning. We hadn't been to The Old Bell for a while but decided to give it a try. We weren't told we couldn't sit in the lower part of the pub if we weren't ordering a cooked breakfast until we were made to move after already having paid at the till in the upper area which would have been the perfect time to explain that. The barman was also loudly complaining about his lot to whom I assume was a regular - not very professional!

Booked a superior room for my son and his partner as part of their Xmas gift so they had some quality time as we had no room. The room was dirty, filthy wardrobe, cobwebs on ceilings big stains on carpets and headboard, over bed light didn't work. Hairdryer had smoke coming out. Bathroom door stuck, shower wouldn't drain , mould around bottom and plugs dirty. The duvet only just reached the side of the bed so I had to provide blankets as the hotel did not have any others. When I complained to the staff they wouldn't move them, said I would have to pay more for a larger room. Didn't attempt to fix anything. Live locally so really embarrassed at this lack of customer service. Do not stay in room 101. It needs a deep clean should not be used in it's current condition. This is NOT a superior room. It's not fit for habitation. The hotel was written to twice and as others have mentioned they don't reply. Disgusting.i use this hotel for meals and drinks and frequent there lovely garden a lot in the summer but not any more. Sadly it won't let me upload the video footage but will try again.

Good value and comfortable place to stay. The staff were efficient and very friendly! We had a good meal as well as an excellent breakfast. We’d definitely stay again. Well located in the middle of town and with a car park. The bar was nice too.
