Superb hotel, but Ctrip has to contact the hotel through an agent, and cannot communicate directly, which is not very convenient. The hotel is right by the sea, you can watch the sunset. The hotel restaurant is better than any restaurant on the island! I ate three meals this time, and I blindly ordered a lot of dishes without stepping on the thunder!
The disadvantage is that the electric water heater is used, and the water will be cold after a long bath. In addition, the hotel does not provide toothpaste and toothbrush, and there is no cleaning after staying for two days.

If you want to chill and relax, this is an ideal place. Lovely cottages with own private beach. Very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are huge and clean. Almost all amenities, except toothpaste and toothbrush provided. Staff is excellent. Would like to specifically mention a young lady, Dewi, who took personal care of guests. Breakfast is provided in the room price and it is quite filling. It is a haven for cat lovers. They host a bunch of friendly cats who come and mingle with guests without fear. Now the not so good part: 1) The resort does not have a shuttle service so you are dependent on booking car for few hours as there are no taxis or ride hailing services. One way rides are expensive. 2) The resort does not have any activities of their own. They do have tie ups with spa, snorkelling, etc but that means travelling elsewhere & added cost. 3) The menu was extremely limited and portion sizes tiny. That was the worst part of the experience. Prices almost matched Singapore. We got them to curate a special menu for our anniversary which was decent, substantial & reasonable. Wonder why the regular menu cannot offer a proper serving size.

Just the ticket, quiet, relaxing, beautiful setting with very helpful staff. Rooms were exceptionally well decorated, big comfy bed and the restaurant was picturesque with sea views. No noisy children! We loved the animals who were all very well behaved. It’s a shame we couldn’t spend more time there. We will definitely go back!

My stay at ROKA Resort in Bintan was simply unforgettable, and this was largely due to an incredible meeting with Sophie, the manager of ARKASIA – Animal Rescue Kingdom Asia. From the moment we arrived, ROKA Resort enveloped us in an atmosphere of serenity and luxury. Nestled in the heart of beautiful nature, the resort offers a perfect setting to relax while being in harmony with the environment. The cherry on the cake was our meeting with Sophie, a passionate and dedicated person for the animal cause. Her work with ARKASIA is simply admirable. She enthusiastically told us about the efforts made to protect and rescue animals in Asia, showing us the importance of preserving local wildlife. Her passion is contagious, and she gave us an inspiring insight into her daily work and the challenges she brilliantly overcomes. This moment added a unique dimension to our stay, allowing us to see beyond the idyllic setting of the resort to discover a noble and inspiring cause.
