"Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. They were very attentive and accommodating too. I wish I could go back one day!"

"Doulos Phos the Ship Hotel is a place of total serenity and peace. Upon arrival ,we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the hotel team. Andri, the hotel manager gave us a good overview of the activities that we can enjoy at the hotel. He personally conducted the tour and the ship hotel and briefed us on its interesting history. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful. In the evening, we had a 10-course Rijstafel, an Indo- Dutch semi fine dining comprising a welcome drink, appetizer,, main course and dessert plus a very special brew of coffee. Overall, it has been a wonderful weekend getaway for me and my wife. Will come back again to explore the surroundings more."

"Second time with Grand Lagoi. Great location near lagoi bay beach. There’s shops in close proximity to the hotel. Hotel has decent breakfast buffet. The warung yeah cafe near the hotel has really fragrant Ayam Bakar. Staff are super friendly and hospitable. Offers free shuttle service to and from the ferry terminal. There is a massage place right beside the hotel for a quick relaxation after you reach Grand Lagoi."

"Indigos Bintan・A Candid Review After a Five-Day, Four-Night Stay Having just completed a five-day, four-night stay, overall, this is a 'beautiful and Instagrammable' resort. However, for those planning a four-night consecutive stay, there are a few practical points to be aware of. Beach and Water Activities The sand on the beach is quite fine and white, but at low tide, the tidal flats are very shallow and mixed with small stones, making it unsuitable for direct swimming. On the other hand, it’s perfect for using the complimentary (30-minute) kayaks and stand-up paddleboards provided by the hotel – the equipment is new, you can launch directly from the beach, and the staff even offer basic instruction, which is a big plus. Spending an hour or two here each day is a great way to enjoy the sun and work off the delicious food. Poolside Breakfast Breakfast is served semi-buffet style at SugarBEATS, with seating right by the pool. Enjoying your meal by the poolside truly adds to the vacation vibe. The food is refined, especially the Indonesian fried rice and freshly prepared Pho, but the selection isn't extensive, and eating there for four consecutive days can feel a bit repetitive. Biggest Pain Point: Only One Restaurant in the Entire Hotel This is my biggest gripe. You're stuck eating dinner at the same place, and by the third night, I was at a loss for what to order. The prices aren't cheap, but the food is just average. I highly recommend bringing your own snacks or simply walking five minutes to the Holiday Inn next door for more dining options. Other Minor Drawbacks While the greenery is lovely, there are a lot of mosquitoes, so you need to open and close the balcony door quickly. Soundproofing at night is mediocre; footsteps in the corridor are clearly audible. Summary If you're drawn by the design and service, a 2-3 day stay would be paradise. However, five days and four nights is definitely on the longer side. Remember to plan at least two days for excursions (like the mangrove tour or Blue Lake), otherwise, you might get bored. I'd give it an overall score of 8.5/10 – it offered pleasant surprises, but didn't quite reach full marks."
