I booked these apartments over 6 months ago in preparation for our visit to Birmingham Comm Games. The stairwells in the apartment were disgusting: filthy, rubbish and smelt of urine. We were on the 4th floor and the lift did not work, not good for my wife who has had 2 knee replacements and this lift has not been working for sometime and we were not informed about this. Parking not as advertised as I paid £36.00 for my stay. There were 4 adults using the apartment and there was insufficient cutlery for all 4. Two broken chairs on the balcony. It was cheaply furnished and so was the flooring. The mattresses in the beds were poor quality and those needed replacing. The parking is not as advertised as cost is £12.00 per 24 hrs. Overall disappointing accommodation from what we expected as advertised as it is misleading and it certainly does not warrant a star rating. Needless to say I shall not be returning and would not recommend these apartments. When contacting the company who rent the flat, they stated not responsible for cleanliness of public areas and the repair of the lift. However, they failed to state lift out of action and they were aware of this.
