We had a lovely overnight stay at liberty's. Bedrooms were clean and beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was really nice, a good selection of foods and drinks. Staff were friendly apart from on our way home when a member of staff got a bit rude over parking ...we assumed parking was included in the hotel price but apparently it's not, so that's something to be mindful about...all in all it was an enjoyable stay and the hotel was only a few minutes walk from north pier .

First time at hotel and one person stuck out for us and this was Kelly just simple question and she was asking us questions about where we got this etc and helped her out.. The hotel breakfast was first class and dinner was first class and served by all very well..the outings to Liverpool, Manchester and the illuminatings trip was well organised by the hotel and Caledonian as well.. One regret of hotel was lift was broke and we were fit by end of the week. Hope Chris and all the staff carry on there good work

Third time staying at this hotel. Room was a twin, large and comfortable. Generally clean but one bedside drawer contained prescription medication and the other had biscuits and lots of crumbs this could have been dangerous had children been in the room. Beds comfy, and we slept well. Bathroom clean bath and a good overhead shower. Room serviced every other day. We had a problem with water leaking from the back of our lavatory. I reported it to reception and when we returned to the hotel that afternoon it had been fixed. The size of the bedrooms are good. Some of the best rooms we have had in Blackpool. A lot of people were complaining about the food but overall I thought it was fine. We did however experience a problem on our final night. We were in the first sitting for dinner and I had ordered soup as starter which according to the menu came with a bread roll. I had chosen soup every night which up to this point I had enjoyed. On my final night I was given the tiniest amount of soup imaginable and no roll. On questioning this the girl said sorry no more soup left and no rolls or bread either. I was not offered an alternative. I saw another guest being given a bread roll and asked a passing waiter and he got me one despite me being told none left. My daughters meal was fine but I was aware of other guests not getting items from main course. Quite a bit of grumbling in bar afterwards. The bar staff were lovely, and the 4 free drinks were great, but for non drinkers like my daughter, why can't they have large draught soft drinks since pints of beer and cider were available. We enjoyed the entertainment very much in the evening. Some good singers. Location is really good on North Shore close to the sea and the North Pier Overall, considering price paid good value for money . I have scored according to the price paid. I feel that having stayed in other Blackpool hotels, a little bit of work needs to be done in some areas to score top marks.

We have been on quite a few trips with Caledonian and they have been great 👍. No one knew the drivers name he gave us very little information about the trip leaving Glasgow and never spoke until Blackpool telling us we arrived and that was the last we seen him. No one from the hotel explained anything about the hotel had to wait an hour for our room. Only 1 lift that only takes 2 people at a time. Dinner was at 5:30 and the portions were the size you would give a toddler, tasteless and the frozen veg were very undercooked. Breakfast was OK. Continental choice was plain yoghurt, no fruit, cereals, toast, butter no flora, jam and marmalade from a jar! Burnt bacon, tough sausages, tinned tomatoes, watery beans, dodgy looking scrambled eggs and wait 10 mins if you want a fried egg! The room was OK. The entertainment was good. Alfie and Tracy worked really hard in the hotel. The other staff they looked like they were forced to work there. Never seen the manager. We have never heard so many people complaining about a hotel,a few people moved to another hotel. This won't put us off Caledonian travel but will never be back to this place!!!

We had a family room which was big enough, plenty of coffee etc and more down in foyer if needed. Bed ok and 2 pillows each. Water VERY hot. Took a while to get shower at a decent temperature either to hot or cold and slow running. Curtains are good blackouts. Room replenished every other day, but only ever 1 toilet roll, 1/2 for 3 of us when we arrived. Hotel needs a good painting, staff are really friendly and very hard working. Only saw 1 a bit disgruntled. Food ( breakfast buffet) cereal toast or cooked. Juice, tea/coffee. I only had juice as nothing suited me. ( would normally have a croissant). Evening meal (table service) 3 course which you choose at breakfast. Vegetables a bit hard. Meat tender, chicken dry, not enough gravy. Soup hot and nice. Desert repetitive. Entertainment FAB, Bingo 8.30, singers 9.00. Different one each night. Been to lots of hotels but this the best by far. Even better than when Cher was on at same hotel a few weeks ago. Paid to go all the way down to see her and she didn’t even do an hour. These lads did at least 90 minutes plus bingo.

This hotel can’t fault the rooms the staff and the food and restaurant staff , but omg the stairs they are everywhere if you have mobility problems don’t go , it should be named steps there’s that many of them even the entrance has stairs , hotel is very tired looking but is clean and I believe they are updating it , plus location is not good tram stop quite far away and no idea where bus stop is , sorry but won’t be using this hotel again , this is my honest opinion of this hotel
