Very basic hotel but couldn't fault the staff for helpfulness and they were extremely welcoming and friendly. Bed was super comfy, only complaint was the shower was cold but got a cheap deal through Caledonian Travel. Hotel is in a great location on the promenade so the tower, pleasure Beach, the Piers and the beach itself all within easy reach.

Faulty towers . Food ???? No fresh veg potatoes or any decent meal . 4 small pieces of scampi 7 chips and spoon of peas . Served on a side plate . Breakfast was okay after wait of 20 minutes for milk . Ran out of eggs . No marg . Pasta seved in small bowl with tomato topping . Had to pay extra for garlic bread . Last morning had breakfast order placed at 9.10am . Had to decline as had to have case down . Tidied up outside it was full of rubbish . By no stretch of description should this be a hotel . A no credits BB . This is honest.

Awful out of date dirty hotel , we’ve just had the weekend there with no shower and the staff weren’t bothered one bit when we told them , food was “ok” for the price (£97.50 a night with parking which was £10 per night) restaurant staff did there best but were clueless in what they were doing , we’re not posh by any means but do expect certain basic standards like hot water to wash , we weren’t the only ones who hadn’t showered for 3 days there was other rooms with no hot water , in my opinion the place needs shutting down for a full refurb how it’s even open is beyond me surely these places need to be inspected !! Couldn’t wait get home and definitely definitely won’t be returning

The Kensington Hotel in Blackpool wants to be ashamed of themselves to try and let out rooms in this condition. This is the second room they tried to put my nanna and grandad in I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there let alone 2 60 odd year old people me poor nanna has asthma and COPD the damp has butched her chest being stuck there while me grandad has had to fight the staff to get moved Hotel because the think this is acceptable. Iv emailed the photos to someone who is gona arrange inspections at the hotel because this place needs closing
