The Derby Hotel

Just got back from 2 nights at the Derby and would highly recommend. Ivan and Tim are superb hosts who cannot do enough for you. Lovely room with a superb location which guarantees a good night's sleep. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone thinking of going to Blackpool.

Well me and babs return to our adopted home in Blackpool, Ivan and tim welcomed us back yet again. Food as usual was 2nd to none. Hotel clean and tidy ,weather was not to bad, pride day was excellent made comfortable by the people at the parade, me and babs have enjoyed our holiday. We did a lot of tram rides.we even visited the tram museum which was well worth the entrance fee,good value for money, plenty of opportunity to take photos while enjoy the history of Blackpool trams. This holiday was a good one and we are both looking forward to our next holiday staying with Ivan and tim. Always nice to be able to do and visit places when you know that you have a nice meal waiting for you at the hotel. Thankyou Ivan and tim for making mine and babs a good happy holiday. xxx. What a warm welcome you receive at his little hotel with a big heart. Ivan & Tim are perfect hosts and keep a guest happy with comfy beds great views and an excellent breakfast, with eggs done to perfection and any way you like. If you ask nicely you can also get some home made marmalade. Nothing was too much trouble for these hoteliers and even opened their well stocked bar on request. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Blackpool. Great access to all areas with the trams stops a minutes walk from the hotel.

Ivan and Tim were great hosts, they make you feel very welcome. Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The bedroom was spotless. Comfortable bed, had a great view from the bedroom window, especially for the sunset/sunrise. 10/10 for a fantastic breakfast. Had no problems with parking. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Ivan & Tim, see you both again soon.

Lovely stay over the weekend. Tim and Ivan very friendly hosts; we felt very welcomed like a home from home stay. There is parking and it is but a short walk to the centre but far enough away not to be noisy at night. Breakfasts were yummy and we couldn't manage another big breakfast the next day so Ivan was happy to just cook whatever we requested (poached eggs). Ivan happy to share local knowledge eg. best fish and chips. Glad we now have a place to go back to when we next visit Blackpool.

A well designed, clean, quiet, comfortable room that was tastefully decorated. The hosts were attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were outstanding, made from quality produce, and well presented. Excellent location for a conference I was attending at a nearby venue! Arrived early and able to access room !
