Thornhill Blackpool

Our 3rd visit here, Adam and Dave are fantastic hosts, breakfast is amazing. Great homely hotel near to front, can’t go wrong.

Property is very clean and tidy. Room is well built and everything works. Very comfortable. The owners are kind and sociable. Had a great experience staying here.

Stayed at the Thornhill after deciding last minute to get away. We chose Thornhill because they were one of the only hotels to have a family room. We arrived and were warmly greeted by Dave & Adam - Great host's! First impressions were that the place was very clean & tidy. This continued as we went to the top floor family type suite. We had 2 rooms in one with an en-suite, which was a little small although we also had exclusive use of another small shower room just outside our door. Again everything clean, tidy and comfortable. Personally we thought bunk beds would work better against the wall in the one room, we have often seen a double on the bottom and single on the top which would allow larger families to stay. The addition of a sliding door between the 2 rooms would also be nice. This is not a criticism in any way, as the room is pretty good as it is. Breakfast was great, full English, toast, tea & coffee. Help yourself to cereals, fruit and juice. Many thanks for the poached eggs - always one awkward customer! Dining room is a little small but it has plenty of charm and they've made the most of the space. If I was to return to Blackpool I'd certainly use Thornhill as my base and 1st choice hotel.

Thornhill is DEFINITELY recommended Both hosts were excellent and friendly. Lovely filling breakfast in very clean room and hotel generally. I wish I'd known about the hotel weeks ago, and I would have stayed longer.

Would highly recommend everything was spot on the ,cleanliness , the hosts Adam & Dave made you more than welcome and nothing was to much trouble . The rooms were cleaned to the highest of standards and very well furnished and beautifully decorated , little touches like body lotion and cotton wool balls added to the room . Also hairdryer and a good sized mirror The glasses in bathroom are sterile vacume packed and the toilet clean sealed also . Kettle in the room and tea coffee facilities, if you ran out you helped yourself where they were well stocked nicely for the guests to help thereselves.also a fridge stocked with water downstairs for you and a little message asking for a donation to put In a little tub , Bed was comfy and lovely pillows while the bed linen was lovely ,and fresh. The towels were pristine white . Breakfast was beautiful Choice of cereal, fresh orange juice and ,full English (other choices) and toast with selection of jams and Marmalade The location was good . Also parking facilities makes a big difference. Dont miss out on this place its the best !

As normal the hotel is perfect for us . In theCentre of town Our room is excellent. And breakfast is so good nothing any trouble. You don't just have to have full breakfast as long as you say before hand. Thanks again Angela Eddy. Friday 30th August
