High Tide Hotel OYO

Negative: Avoid this at all cost. OYO Hotels and the High Tide owner whoever he/she is have some kind of disagreement and any booking beforehand will NOT do so you'll have to PAY IN CASH when you arrive. But it really is not worth it because the place is a mess. I know what the old english small hotels can be like sometimes but this one is terrible even with lowest english standards. Stains everywhere, water on the sill, probably the smallest shower in Blackpool , front door unlocked all night etc. I asked for a receipt for my payment and got hand written nonsense on a plain paper. The hotel owner was nowhere to be seen even when I asked it several times. Positive: The hotel manager girl wears no bra so if you like that kind thing then maybe this is your place to stay after all.

My friend and I had an amazing stay. One of the best affordable hotels there is, the rooms are really modern and very clean, the staff are so friendly, highly recommend this hotel especially if you are on a budget. Will definitely be back

Myself, husband and daughter along with another family of 3 stopped in blackpool a couple of weeks ago for 1 night. We booked through ***********. the hotel was called OYO HIGHTIDE HOTEL, 10 Charnley Road, FY1 4PF. Upon arriving we noticed a sign in the window stating rooms from £40 per night. We paid £125 per room, we had 2 rooms in total. It looked OK when we arrived but the cleaner was the only person available to greet us. We headed towards the rooms and the mess around us was disgusting. Dirty mattresses leaning against corridor walls with crap everywhere. The room was filthy, pictures below show some of it. The cleaner had long gone when we went to look for her. No one was about to sort the problems. The door leading to outside that was in our room wouldn't lock properly. The kettle was split down the front and had bogeys wiped down it. The mattress protector was covered in stains, there was fresh blood on the bedding, the floor was sticky, the shower was broke, and flooding, the headboards were taped up, the door wasn't secure, the small kitchen area was dirty. The main door wasn't locked all night the noise of people screaming in the room above at 4 in the morning was ridiculous. This price did not include a breakfast. We waited for the manager who never showed up. We contacted *********** and they said they would speak to the hotel owner. Both the owner and *********** have no interest. Easily the dirtiest Hotel we have had the misfortune to stay in. I have tried to resolve this but they are not interested. When spoken to on the phone the owners wife laughed and said not her problem. Photos below. Top advisor only allows a small number of pictures

Key code only no on managing this place...noisy ..wouldn't recommend simply didn't feel safe...left early...had no sleep for 24 hours due to inconsiderate room opposite playing loud music..waste of money

Stayed here and was more than happy with the room, it was just what I needed. The room was clean and up to date. The service was great and the young lady who checked me in was friendly and super helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
