We stopped here for a couple of nights last year ,I love organs and Jean performed. On one for us and made our breakfasts for us too each morn ,we had a nice time I wouldn't mind going back sometime the only thing I didn't fancy is the parking we used a car park that was not too far but it wasn't outside

Jean’s hospitality is amazing, brews on tap on arrival and again when coming in after a-bit of sight seeing. We even got to listen to her tinkle on the organ. Rooms clean and comfy. Breakfast was yummy full English, my friend was catered for her veggie needs. Jean could not do enough for us all staying at the hotel. Thanks Jean we’re planning our next trip already!

Stayed at the hotel on 26th September for 3 day. Jean gave us a warm welcome with a lovely cup of tea when we arrived. The hotel is clean, tidy and our room was more than adequate. The breakfast was delicious and the icing on the cake was her concert. A very musically talented lady. Thank you, will be coming back again!

What a wonderful amazing lady , a very warm welcome when we arrived with a chat over a cuppa. A lovely breakfast in the morning after an excellent nights sleep. We chatted away the whole 2 days , showing us pics of her amazing life and filled us with fascinating stories finishing off with a “mini concert “ on the last morning, I can honestly say I didn’t want to come home. Jean we love you already! We very much hope to see you again. Dean & Linda Fox. Xx

The welcome we received was fantastic and the friendly, homely atmosphere continued for our whole stay which was 7 days. Jean was always the perfect host. The breakfast was brilliant and plenty of it. The rooms we had were so clean and the beds were so comfortable. We can only thank Jean for everything as she works so hard. Amazing lady, amazing host and amazing musician.

The beds are comfy, the front garden is pretty, the breakfast is perfect and the location is spot on. But that is the mere tip of the iceberg. For the person who greets you at the door with the warmest smile, who makes a cup of tea upon arrival, who recommends the best place for tea, who singlehandedly serves up the most tasty breakfast with a cheer is none other than the exceptionally talented organist and entertainer Jean Martyn. She delivers this service with utter perfection and makes you feel like you are a long lost friend. What a talent. But if you catch one of Jean's concerts in the hotel living room, then you really will be the cats who got the cream. She has astonishing talent on the keys, but this multitasking legend also chats to 500+ online viewers from across the globe, and keeps you feeling totally enthralled and included whilst astounding you with an eclectic array of musical styles and more key changes than you can imagine. Catch Jean in her delightful little hotel and you will remember your visit forever.

We are just about to leave this welcoming hotel after an all-too-short stay. The accommodation is clean and cosy. The host, Jean Martyn is always jolly and entertaining. The breakfast caters to all tastes and is as you would like, setting one up for the day with a full English or as simple as you wish. We would give 5 stars across the board for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, with our thanks.
