A very nice place in a very naturistic area with great places to stay and activities to do. The house itself was large and fit everyone, the pool was nice and warm, felt nice when i was burnt from the beach, beds are comfortable, the only issue we had was WiFi as we couldn’t get the code in time but other than that it was perfect and i definitely recommend the wifi is good when you get the code. It also did cost £20 for a week on 6 devices. The restaurant food was lovely but took forever although i do understand there was one chef so it was fine. The bar was lovely and the staff was friendly and chatty. The entertainment was lovely and well set up. I recommend this place to older people more than families and young kids as it’s a very calm peaceful place with relaxing activities like a pool and golf. I loved it here.

Booked a holiday here through hoseasons in a silver villa 132.it was nothing like the one advertised.i took my autistic son and disabled brother on arrival check in was fine ,staff were nice enough apart from one lady who was quite arrogant ,lovely site but some of the people where smoking **** it absolutely stank . Got into the villa it was basic but looked clean enough until I checked around , ants in the downstairs bathroom ,dirty dishes and cups just put in the cupboard ,couches very well used and it hurt my back to sit on them so decided to use a pillow to put behind my back . Rug dirty ,scratches all over the floor .upstairs was ok apart from around the bath which had rust and also couldn’t use the bath as I was told there isn’t enough hot water to fill it due to immersion heaters . Apparently there is only enough hot water for 3 showers a day ,that was a lie there was only enough for my autistic son and disabled brother to use . As for the heater in the double bedroom that didn’t work or the one upstairs with 2 single beds .we were given some temporary radiators which weren’t great and didn’t heat the rooms that much . Furniture was very dated . Internet was rubbish even tho we paid for it daily. We went to the restaurant/clubhouse ,floors were sticky ,tables were dirty and sticky . Decided to order a pint and the taste honestly tasted like it had cleaning fluid in it . I have worked myself to the bone to pay for this holiday including spends and I can honestly say the villas need a good renovation and put central heating in and sort your ant problem out . Staff were great in the restaurant. Please do not waste your money on this place

Lovely landscaped paŕk with comfortable accomodation but private customers might be treated differently and communication could be better. Positives: lovely swimming pool Well stocked shop Abundance of wildlife Dawn chorus was amazing! Could be better: *More physical signposting of accommodation, numbers are in a random order (map available from reception) *Bar and restaurant menus available outside so you can see what's available when it's closed. Or maybe a menu in reception or somewhere online *reception don't ask for phone numbers. If you are private this means if a booked activity is cancelled, they won't let you know. (Help yourself by offering a number) *information about showering facilities at the pool available on booking or in reception or online (there are no private shower cubicles and you aren't allowed shampoo in the shared showers) *information about pool rules available at booking or online (you aren't allowed pool toys in the pool). All of this is just how it is i guess, but could be made a lot better by communicating, in various ways before activities, outside facilities, or online to allow people to be informed and make choices.

I rate this holiday park a 10/10 only went for 3 nights, entertainment amazing thanks to kyle and Nichole. Staff amazing, site beautiful and well maintained. Kid friendly, so many activities to do with family. The meals are lovely and well priced. I highly recommend this holiday park to anyone who would like a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Family visited here last year and recommended it for a little fishing break. All the lakes are dead. Pine lake seemed to have a few fish in it. Other 2 not a sign of a fish not even little silvers, no movement no frogs no ducks even… spoke to local owners who said about awful **** and cormorants living on the lakes over winter. Somethings not right. I have decided to report it to the environment agency (I’m no expert fisherman and happy to blank but watching a dozen guys fish the ‘super active easy to catch fish in pine lake for a day and only one fish came out is just rubbish). Really disappointed as we only booked for the fishing after all the positive reviews.

Having just spent the weekend at Hengar Manor, I cannot express how impressed and delighted we as a friends group (4 adults, 1 child) were with every aspect of our stay. The booking process was easy, a lovely touch was the courtesy phone call a couple of days before our arrival to ensure we knew what to expect and introduce us to the park including an invitation to arrive early and enjoy the park whilst awaiting check in. On arrival we found the park surroundings to be absolutely stunning with well maintaied grounds and clearly signposted directions to reception, facilities and accommodation. Check in was very welcoming and super easy with everything already prepared with great park information. All reception staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful but I'd like to especially mention Francis who undertook the courtesy call with me and made us feel so welcome. We had a platinum lodge at Manor Lake which as well as being the perfect location to allow us to do some fishing was very well presented, modern, well equipped and clean. We were so impressed with the spacious and comfortable lodge, it felt very luxurious and had everything we needed. All enjoyed great night's of sleep. The shop had the essentials and a really good selection of prizes for the arcade tickets. The staff were super friendly and helpful. All the facilities we utilised - pool, arcade, teddy bear mountain, segway and dino carts provided lots of fun and enjoyment (but can we have motors on the dino carts for next time!!). The bar/restaurant/entertainment venue is modern and spacious with good facilities. Food and drink selection was very good. Cole and Hannah made us feel very welcome, they work very hard but still take the time to have a chat and get to know you. The entertainment was fun and lively with Kyle ensuring everyone had an enjoyable time. Dani B, the singer on Saturday night did a great job of giving everyone a great show, we really enjoyed it. All the team are an amazing bunch of individuals who do Hengar Manor and Park Holidays proud, they all made us feel so welcome and special. I would however be very remiss if I did not give special mention to the entertainment manager Kyle who was the staff member I spent most time with during the evening entertainment and the segway activity. Kyle is approachable, friendly and does everything he can to ensure you have a great time and a wonderful holiday. It felt like I've gained a wonderful new friend, he is a real credit to Hengar Manor and Park Holidays and a very big part of our decision to rebook another stay. Thank you Kyle - you're a star

This has to be the worst experience of my life first of all the accommodation was terrible dated beds uncomfortable sofa needed to be thrown in the skip. All cutlery was filthy. The list goes on The reception staff wasn’t a lot of help and didn’t really seem bothered with anything I had to say the entertainment was Terrible karaoke most nights and cheesy little games can’t really call it entertainment to be quite honest you. Bless the young lady’s rushed off their feet working the bar and running food while the other young chap with bleached blonde hair is literally watching them work and struggle whilst staring at his phone he didn’t look like he wanted to be there what so ever he seems a let down to the team also comes across very rude the food was also terrible from the restaurant who ever is cooking in the kitchen needs to go back to school a weather spoons meal is a lot better than what you will get served here the wait on are food was ridiculous the lagers that was being served was flat like they had ran out of gas some of the staff need to wake up here especially management this place has a lot of potential ive stayed here about 9 times now and this time it feels as though it’s going in the gutter I will not be returning until I see a big improvement I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone at this moment in time

It's such a pity as the entertainment staff did everything they could to make our stay really good. Sophie and Marie really did everything they could for us, Our stay was let down by the accommodation as it was very basic, no mattress protector, very cheap pillows and bedding. The breakfast took a long time as one person was on duty, cooking, cleaning, serving. The evening meals again one person cooking, one night they closed the kitchen so we were unable to eat. There wasn't much choice and we had to choose 4 things each before they had what we wanted. I cant fault the staff as they did there best. The upper manager make the decisions on head count but sit at home whilst the staff work really hard to try to make holiday makers have a great time, you let them down by trying to make more money, spend a bit on one more entertainment staff, one more chef and a bit on the accommodation and I am sure you will see a lot more return visitors, and also better reviews and better staff morale, and a lot less staff turnaround, its only one more staff member in each department.

My family stayed in minions a Gold Cottage, it was spacious, clean and tidy upon arrival. Beds could do with upgrading! We used the log burner a few times which was lovely. The oven had no manual and symbols rubbed off but had a speedy response from maintenance to add the symbols to oven again. We had an allocated car parking space which unfortunately others decided to park in so there needs to be improvements of a sign to make it clearer that this is not anyone’s space! As it’s frustrating being out all day to return with no space. We reported and waited for the buckle to move on one day and the second time, no staff around and office closed to report it. The outdoor part of cottage in the wet was slippery and need jet washing due to leaf debris. We went swimming every day and managed to book this easily, in past swimming has been booked up and not accessible. The pool and spa pool could have been a bit warmer. Shame you’re only allow to swim once a day. Paid for WiFi, it was easy to do and fast speed. There’s not much else to do on site, crazy golf has gone, tennis courts need updating as does the children’s park. We only visited the entertainment once for the quiz, there wasn’t enough staff and waited 20minutes for drinks then to be told to go to the bar side. Glasses and people roses/ rubbish left on tables and not cleared away. Surprisingly, the entertainment had plenty of tables free and not busy like it has been in the past. Onsite shop reasonably priced and good opening hours. Overall it’s a good base, and the first time in years not to have issues with the accommodation. Just needs to have some TLC to make improvements and to be more child friendly!
