"I stay about a month ago in this small and lovely resort, and it was bellissimo, even in autumn season! The weather was not the best, but the staff make everything so special. All the peoples working here are so kind and smile always. They make me feel at home like I am part of a big family. The room was very clean and with much comfort, and the view outside was so beautiful. I enjoy really the peace and relax here. The food? Delicious! Simple but full of taste. My compliments to the chef for this. Grazie mille to the team for all the care and attention. I hope I can return soon, maybe next time in the summer!"

"The Susona Bodrum resort is an excellent location for a destination wedding & visit to nearby Bodrum city & harbor. The bride chose one of the Susona's docks into the bay of the Aegean for the ceremony's location, and one of several indoor/outdoor large meeting spaces for the preliminary reception & post-ceremony dinner. All these spaces were large enough for up to ~150 guests. The service from the staff was excellent, particularly when one of Bodrum's frequent passing evening showers came by shortly after the wedding ceremony had concluded. The helpful staff quickly deployed umbrellas & towels to get everyone under cover and to get all the seats dried out after the shower passed. The staff was always helpful during our entire stay @ Susona, even with so many wedding guests trying to arrange things at last minute. The food @ Susona was very good, both during the wedding & during the daily breakfast service. The pool waitstaff was equally good; bringing us custom orders poolside and to the small seating area. There are two conventional pools (both with reasonably warm water, even in mid-May) and you can swim in the Aegean if you like (you're on your own with the ocean water temperature). Our rooms are very nice; with the size & comfort you'd expect in a destination resort. Note the building holding the rooms are some distance from the main lobby, breakfast & pool area. You'll have to walk to these, or call for one of the golf/utility carts to come to pick you (and your luggage) up. Private cars won't be allowed near the room past the main parking area. My room towards the back was very quiet while I was there, although during the wedding party we were the ones making all the noise. Occasionally you'll hear one of the many resident cats meow in anticipation of another food treat; give them any and you'll have a companion for the remainder of your stay. Susona is pretty isolated from the rest of its neighbors; they assume you'll be spending much of your time on site. There's nothing really to walk to nearby. A taxi ride to downtown Bodrum is ~$15 each way. I'd recommend this for a destination event, such as a wedding, or you want to get away for any downtown hustle."

"Pros Location is great and close to everything. Food is actually decent for an all inclusive (not the best but you have options to pick what you like). Drinks are available all day, although not premium the local beer was nice and the piña coladas were nice but needed more alcohol. The spa is included and the pool was quiter there and also the hamam and sauna was free. Massage was offered as additional but the price was cheap. Cons The rooms are in need of refurbishment. We had ants in our room although we never had any food or spillages My partners bracelet was missing from the room, we were never drunk and certain it was left in the room. We reported it but never had any updates back from them. No iron is provided so bring your own. The hairdryer wasnt working although they replaced it within 30mins. The beach is average I've seen worst but not the best. Wake up early if you want a sunbed next to the beach as they get taken pretty fast (no drink service at the beach either). I would say this hotel is probably a 3-4 star and not a 5 star experience."

"The hotel is in a very good location. The amenities and offerings at the hotel are great. Drinks, including alcohol and cocktails, are available at the bars. Aside from the main meals, Gozleme is made fresh between the hotel and the pool, and there is a fast-food restaurant between the pool and the beach. The food isn't top-tier, but it is very decent. The pools are excellent and are the most beautiful part of the hotel. The beach is 20 meters from the pool and is okay. The rooms are the weakest part of the hotel, and by Croatian standards, the hotel is realistically a 3-star property. In that regard, it is quite modest. The staff is helpful, accommodating, and friendly. If you are expecting a 5-star European hotel, you might be disappointed. However, it is actually good value for money."

It was such a special experience, and I would like to thank everyone who made my stay so luxurious and enjoyable - especially Executive Chef Marc Vaessen and his team, as well as Yaren, Dogac, and Fatih for their warm hospitality and attention to detail. This adults-only hotel is a wonderful place to disconnect, enjoy the peace and quiet, and truly relax. I was kindly upgraded to a Suite with a Private Pool, and it was an unforgettable experience. Having my own pool and a large terrace overlooking some of the best sunsets in Bodrum. I enjoyed them every evening. The views are stunning from every room in the hotel. Breakfast was exceptional. Everything was beautifully presented and thoughtfully arranged. There was an impressive selection of fresh vegetables, fruits, appetizers, freshly squeezed juices, delicious desserts, and eggs prepared to order in any style from the menu. The To Kima restaurant was also excellent for dinner. The food, atmosphere, and service made every meal a pleasure. The fitness center deserves a special mention. It is equipped with brand-new, high-tech equipment and offers stunning sea views. I also loved The Round Bar - the perfect spot for golden-hour cocktails with sea views. The beach area is beautiful: a large deck with comfortable loungers, a small cove, crystal-clear water, and sea access via a pontoon. I truly believe this hotel will soon become one of Bodrum’s most sought-after destinations. The property is incredibly stylish, featuring the elegant Japanese-inspired design that the OKU brand is known for. Combined with its location, beautiful views, excellent dining, and outstanding service, it creates a very special atmosphere. I look forward to returning soon."
