It’s a beautiful hotel. Room is nice and comfy. Location is perfect.
However, service is terrible. Like a 3-star hotel.
When we arrived, there was no doorman at the door to help with luggages. After a 24-hour door to door travel, we had to carry our luggages up and still no one offered help.
Housekeeping was not a 5-star ranking standard. Bedsheets were not changed even on the 5th night I stayed.
From day 2, we have to call front desk to replenish water everyday. If u don’t call, no water is replenish.
A request of a kettle took 30 mins.
We ordered a few packages from Amazon and Target, took them two whole days to check where are the packages. Called front desk 3 times, went down to talk face to face with front desk 2 times. Finally they found it and brought it to the room.

exceptional service and room- everyone is so friendly and helpful, and the room and bed is very cozy. Would definitely recommend as it’s also very convenient. Sad to see people on strike- wish these people would be paid better as they deserve it.

My second stay at the hotel in a month. Really impressed with hotel services by everyone i encountered at The Newbury Boston. I had a late midnight flight flying out, so have requested for a late check out via trip.com comment box. When I checked in, the hotel told me they took note of my request on the trip.com booking and gave me a late check out. Appreciate the professional service at the reception! And the efficiency of trip.com on meeting my request and bookings 🩵 Thank you

The worst hotel in this trip to the United States. I don't know how they got such good reviews. The room cost more than 7,000 yuan a night, but there was not even a bottle of water in the room. I called 3 times and it took an hour to deliver water. What made me even more unhappy was that I was first given room number 444, which was above the fan and kitchen and was extremely noisy. After much effort, I was able to get it changed to 644. The hotel clearly had rooms available, so why did they give me the worst room on the lowest floor first? The front desk and waiters had cold faces the whole time, and I felt discriminated against. The service of Ctrip Black Diamond is still very good. When you are overseas, you can still get some help in time.

The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and parks. The room is clean and tidy. There are large windows that can be opened for ventilation. The only downside is that the soundproofing is a little poor. You can hear the people in the next room on the conference call in the early morning. You can bring earplugs to avoid this problem.
