Cambria Hotels Boston Downtown - Seaport ★★★

📍 6 W Broadway, South Boston, Boston

"I appreciate the clean hotel and neighborhood. I felt safe as a solo business traveler and would recommend this hotel and location. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus. Staff are friendly and attentive."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston Bayside
8.6 (433 reviews)

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston Bayside ★★★★

📍 240 Mt Vernon St, Dorchester, Boston

"The facilities are a bit old; the standing air conditioner was incredibly loud, so I had to turn it off at night. All Hilton hotels don't provide kettles; you either use the in-room coffee maker or get hot water from the restaurant. Aside from that, all other services were good. There's a supermarket next to the hotel and a bus stop nearby."

Encore Boston Harbor
9.3 (213 reviews)

Encore Boston Harbor ★★★★★

"Great get away. Loved the room and all the restaurants. Great food. Just wish they had a pool and you could watch the local teams ex: Red Sox from your room not the bar."

The Revolution Hotel
9.3 (262 reviews)

The Revolution Hotel ★★★

📍 40 Berkeley St, South End, Boston

"Pros: The location is great, less than a 15-minute walk to Central Park and about a 10-minute walk to the Back Bay shopping area. Cons: The bathroom is not en-suite, which was inconvenient at night. During peak morning hours, you might have to wait to use it. (However, the cleanliness was excellent.)"

Citizenm Boston Back Bay
9.4 (157 reviews)

Citizenm Boston Back Bay ★★★★

📍 408 Newbury St, Fenway Kenmore, Boston

"Great location, about an 8-minute walk to the commercial street. The breakfast was also good, quite substantial for American standards. The room was very clean, though a bit small. The smart home features were nice, and the entire check-in and check-out process was contactless, which was excellent."

InterContinental Hotels BOSTON by IHG Hotels in Boston

InterContinental Hotels BOSTON by IHG

"I met up with my family from the US here. I booked my room through Trip.com, and their service was excellent. My family had a last-minute change of plans, so I had to modify my booking to fit their schedule. The Trip.com customer service patiently contacted the hotel and revised my existing order as I requested (instead of making a new one). When traveling abroad, I really appreciate how timely and reliable Trip.com's service is! The hotel's overall environment was quite good, and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also quite rich. Aside from the room fee paid online to Trip.com, I had to pay an additional $45.42 per night at the front desk for amenity fees and various taxes. Compared to other rooms of the same price and type at the hotel, my room, 843, seemed to be tucked away in the very back (as shown in photo 1). The view was quite narrow and obstructed. In contrast to Trip.com's service, the hotel's service was a bit subpar; I had to go to the front desk myself to request small bottles of drinking water and other items."

"Very nice hotel, very clean and quiet. The room service is great. I called for water, toothbrushes, and kettles, and they were all delivered quickly. The takeaways I ordered were also delivered to the room. The location of the hotel is very convenient. I will stay here again next time."

Cambria Hotels Boston Downtown - Seaport ★★★
"The location is great, very close to the subway station, and the view from the window is expansive. The room is quite spacious with complete and well-maintained facilities. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, but it was easy to turn off. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was simple, but there was plenty of fresh fruit and coffee."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston Bayside ★★★★
"The hotel is pretty good, with Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. The only downside is that transportation isn't very convenient; you'll need to take a taxi to get around. It's also a bit far to walk to the lively areas. Overall, it's decent."

Encore Boston Harbor ★★★★★
"It was a generally good stay, with nice amenities and a spacious room. There was one issue that came up: the Trip.com website stated that the room would be on the 27th floor. However, when checking in, the reception at the Encore hotel said the highest they could give me was the 17th floor, 10 floors below what was promised, even though I showed them my reservation detailing that reserved room was on the 27th floor. A second issue to be aware: this establishment that calls itself a "resort hotel" does not have a mini-fridge in the room. One can rent one for $40/night, which is a bit mind-boggling. The only fridge in the room is dedicated for the mini-bar. However, one cannot use that fridge because any movement of items in it would incur a charge since the sensor system, which tracks each bottle, would trigger a charge to the room. This meant I could not place my perishable item in the mini-bar fridge by shifting the alcoholic bottles to make space for my perishable items. Otherwise, this was overall a pleasant stay."

"The location is fantastic! It's super convenient to catch the bus, subway, or an Uber right outside the door. There's a supermarket and a large shopping mall just a five-minute walk away, and you can get to Boston Common in about half an hour on foot. The place is clean and tidy, and there's breakfast on the second floor. The self check-in process was a breeze."

The Royal Sonesta Boston ★★★★
"The room is clean and the bathroom is large. The hotel is in a good location, near the river, with a beautiful environment. It is only 1.2 kilometers away from MIT, about 18 minutes' walk, and near the Science Museum. It is also very convenient to take Boston's famous Duck tours, which is also an 8-minute walk from the hotel, but there is no buffet breakfast"
