JJeffreyH2The Verb Hotel is one of a kind hotel. Located right next to the legendary Fenway Park, it has its own vibe and nice amenities. I love all the old school records and had an opportunity to catch up with Prince, Bob Dylan among others. The deco is retro which is really nice and fitting. I also enjoyed the 24 hour hot and cold coffee on tab. Staffs are super friendly. Everything looks and feels clean. The restaurant onsite and nearly are decent.

Llucky VVBefore I booked this place, I wanted to experience the atmosphere of the school club, and overall I was very satisfied. Because the flight arrived too early, I stayed in the cold wind at the door for half an hour at six o'clock. The chef came to work and opened the door for me to enter. Fortunately, there was coffee and cookies. Then I was very lucky that the room that I was supposed to check in at 3pm was checked into my room at 8:30pm! ! The bed and pillows were very, very comfortable! ! Although the room is not big and the bathroom is in the corridor, there are only 12 rooms in the entire hotel, so it is very quiet and no one is disturbed. I stayed still and didn’t want to go out. This club used to be an all-girls college, so the old ladies I saw playing mahjong the next day were all students from the previous school. The only thing that didn't feel good was that there was a restroom next to the restaurant. Maybe it was because of the sewers, so there was a bit of a smell near the restroom.

農夫燕尼尼The hotel is very close to the airport by taxi, and you can also walk to Back Bay Station in about 10 minutes. After checking in, the hotel provided a $35/day credit to be used at the bar on the second floor. The only drawback is how noisy it was. On the first night, I'm not sure what happened nearby, but there were people shouting and the sounds of police cars and ambulances well past midnight, which really disturbed a business traveler's rest.

GGuest UserThe hotel is less than 10min walk from Andrew’s station which is a direct Silver Line 1 bus from airport to this station. Within many outlets like TJ mart, Macy , Marshall , Target, Stop and Shop , Olive Garden and Applebee’s and many other shop. The hotel staffs were friendly. I was there for 11 nights and upon check out, this young gentleman on duty prepare to help waive off our USD$10 airport transfer for my family of 4 . I must also gave a big clap to this lady serving the weekday morning breakfast . I think her name was Melinda , she was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely return if we were to visit Boston again.

GGuest UserFriendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. But…There is NO SWIMMING POOL! Please update your page on 3rd party platforms to reflect this. The pool has been closed for years so says the staff there… Gym is good however, and the staff were great. Location wise, it’s not amazing unfortunately. A little far from downtown and the area isn’t great, quite a few people in the nearby area seem to be struggling with homelessness and *********… But it’s close to an applebees if that’s your thing! In conclusion. Rooms: Good. Location: Not good. Pool: Doesn’t exist… Gym: Good 👍

AAddicted to TravelThe location of the hotel cannot be beat. Unfortunately our room had a few faults. The AC unit was extremely loud. The motor on the fridge was also very noisy. It made sleep a bit difficult. Our unit faces the loading bay of the healthcare center next door. So each morning, we are awakened by the early shift’s arrival. The free breakfast was good for the first couple days. But the lack of variety after one week was a bit disappointing. There is a Star Market and a Target not too far away from the hotel.

HHemantDMy last stay 3 weeks ago was excellent. But last night the room was freezing cold. 65 F . Out side was 5 F. The man on front desk was not polite. Changed the room from 326 to 832 with same temp. Sent a van driver to check the problem. And said he cannot do anything more. There was no engineering staff. Very unhappy with this uncomfortable night. Travellers, please be careful.

Ssofiia ShokhinaThe hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality. However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests. During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information about additional mandatory charges only appeared after payment was completed, when cancellation was no longer possible, wich is disappointing. Upon arrival, we were charged $200, which was later explained as $25 per person per night - something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process or at check-in. Initially, we believed this payment was a refundable deposit, as no clear explanation was provided. What felt particularly unacceptable was the way additional fees appeared in multiple stages: 1. extra charges becoming visible only after payment and confirmation, 2. additional payments required again upon arrival at the hotel, and 3. further unexplained charges after checkout - in our case, an additional $16 was withdrawn without clear justification. A staff member kindly explained that the resort fee includes Wi-Fi, water, and tea in the room, which we did use as they are standard services normally included in hotel stays worldwide. The fee also covered additional optional amenities such as bicycle parking and a complimentary alcoholic drink at the bar. However, we did not use these extra amenities, as they were not relevant to our stay. Since these services are optional by nature, it was unclear why guests are not given the choice to opt out instead of being required to pay for them regardless of usage. Even more concerning is that these mandatory resort fees are presented as payment for comfort and amenities, yet the overall stay did not fully reflect this. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbour’s television. The manual heating system in our room also did not function properly. We chose not to report these issues at the time because we spent little time in the hotel and did not expect the final cost of the stay to become so high. In hindsight, considering the total amount paid, these comfort issues become more significant. We strongly believe that all mandatory taxes and service fees should be transparently included in the total hotel price from the beginning. When fees continue to appear after payment, during check-in, and even after departure, guests understandably feel uncomfortable and misled. Because the final amount paid was much higher than expected, we realized that for the same total price we could have chosen a better hotel without additional hidden fees - which we in fact did for our following stay. We kindly ask the hotel to review these charges and consider a partial refund, as greater transparency and fairness in pricing would greatly improve trust and the overall guest experience

AArrowanaI had an enjoyable stay at the place. The place is new and clean. The staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful. The rooms smells fresh and is comfortable to sleep 4. The hot breakfast has a pretty good spread and the food is fresh. The servers work really hard and refills the food promptly. Kudos to them. Overall the stay is value for money. A great place to rest and recharge. Nothing to do with the hotel, but the neighbourhood is a below expectations and feels unsafe. It is apparent if you walk around in the late evening. Nevertheless, if you are hopping around the city, getting a Lyft or Uber is easy and the neighbourhood should not be a factor.

KKeiko ParkThis hotel was pretty good. The staff were kind. They let me know this is a new hotel, so they are still working out some kinks. There was some difficulty with check-in due to their computer system. Besides that, there were no issues. The heat worked well, which was a relief. There is no youtube or netflix on the tv, which I was not used to, but there was cable so we did watch some tv.
