JeffreyH2The Verb Hotel is one of a kind hotel. Located right next to the legendary Fenway Park, it has its own vibe and nice amenities. I love all the old school records and had an opportunity to catch up with Prince, Bob Dylan among others. The deco is retro which is really nice and fitting. I also enjoyed the 24 hour hot and cold coffee on tab. Staffs are super friendly. Everything looks and feels clean. The restaurant onsite and nearly are decent.

Fantastic location, we walked to the children museum from the hotel. Breakfast was great, pool was fun although it is quite skinny and not as warm as I would like. Sauna was very nice! I was surprised we had to tip for a breakfast buffet when breakfast was included in our stay. There was someone refilling coffee at our table so we would have felt bad if we didn't leave a tip, but I would rather have just not had to tip anyone and get my own coffee refills since we already paid for included breakfast.

zphit4010The hotel's location is excellent, not far from MIT, Harvard, Boston University, Berklee College of Music, Tufts University, and Northeastern University. A taxi ride costs between $15-20 to these locations. It's also conveniently close to major attractions, generally under $20 by taxi. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Harvard Square and downtown, with fewer runs on weekdays and more on weekends, which is great for getting around. There's a Whole Foods market and a gas station within an 8-minute walk, making everyday life very convenient. The river view rooms offer nice scenery, and you can enjoy Boston's night view from the top floor.

Tang0591Overall, I was very satisfied with the service. They even offered a complimentary local clam soup, which was wonderfully warming. On our last day, they provided a free extra bed for my child, which was fantastic. The baggage room staff also gave excellent advice on choosing an Uber for our luggage, making it easy to fit everything into one car. I would definitely come back again! 😄

Guest UserThe hotel has a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby and is convenient for getting around. Parking can be booked in advance at nearby parking lots; the hotel charges 70, but you can come and go freely. The room is dark, with a kitchen and tableware, but the facilities are outdated. The refrigerator is particularly noisy, and combined with the air conditioner compressor right outside the window, there's low-frequency noise all night. Those sensitive to noise should be cautious… The sofa bed is old, makes noise, and the springs have lost their elasticity, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, but the toilet seat is loose. The shower faucet doesn't close properly and leaks all night.

Overall a good experience for a pricey hotel in Boston. I think they are all quite expensive. Nice hotel and staff. Food and bar good. Liked the “free” tea/coffee, water and snacks, and rooftop pool and bar. I think that’s why they charge an amenity fee. No smoking at the rooftop pool/bar which was a pain. They should set aside a small corner for smokers as it’s outside after all.
I think the bathroom/shower facilities could be updated. The functioning of it seemed outdated and tricky to work. We only had a trickle of cold water coming out of our sink tap which was annoying.
Overall though a good experience for our 3 nights in Boston.

The InterContinental Boston has a great location; it's within easy walking distance of Chinatown, the Financial District, and Boston's South Station. The receptionist, Lily, was very friendly. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it had most of the essential American breakfast items. The problem was that when you needed to call for water, toiletries, bathrobes, etc., they couldn't provide slippers due to insufficient stock.

Colin Chiang (zhengguohua)My stay at the Boston Copley Place Marriott in a River View King Room was a terrible experience. I arrived late at night and, after checking in, was assigned a room right next to the elevator.
Throughout the night, the elevator frequently started and stopped, creating a constant and noticeable buzzing vibration and operational noise. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and the incessant noise made it impossible to get any restful sleep, severely impacting my rest quality. The front desk clearly thought I was an easy target, putting me in such a subpar room despite the price I paid.
The room assignment was completely unreasonable and showed no consideration for guest comfort. My overall stay was unpleasant, and this experience was just as disappointing as my last one. I advise friends to always request a room far away from the hotel elevators, or else the staff will take advantage of you.

The hotel I booked for Boston Marathon is a little off the beaten track. The hotel itself is pretty good, big and new. There is a Starbucks downstairs. The room is cleaned promptly every day, which is rare in the United States.
