The requirements of the motel should not be too high. The tabletop for eating is dirty. The dishcloth is used by others. It is not a big problem to go after a sleep. Cattle City Motor Inn is viable because of its proximity to Rockhampton CBD and access to the arterials for North Rockhampton. It does however suffer with its location on a major thoroughfare such as Gladstone Road which has a fair volume of traffic. All fixable. Air con being on when you arrived would have helped on a 35 degree day.

A standard Australian-style motel, with a small courtyard surrounded by rooms, and a small outdoor swimming pool is basically for children to play in the water. I was asking for leave from the chef, so I could only go out for breakfast. Instant coffee and tea bags were provided, as well as small bottles of drinking water. The room facilities were relatively simple and clean, almost the domestic Hanting standard. Because self-driving choose here is mainly free parking, parking fees in Australian hotels are more expensive. Arrived early in the morning. As a result, there was no one at the front desk, so I had to go to the nearby shopping mall for lunch and then come back to check in. Check in and out was seamless, the room was very spacious and clean (we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room), there’s an on-site barbecue that seemed quite nice. Good value for money!
