Simcoe County Hotels with Breakfast

The bed and pillows are very comfy, staffs wirh the front desk are all very nice, the breakfast is good enough for us, the location is great for restaurants and only a short drive to blue mountain village, we did enjoy the 2 nights stay, thank you.

Our room didn’t get made up everyday. The amenities (kayaks etc) were being used to go to the inflatables by large groups and being left there. Paddle boards were floating away and other people had to retrieve them. When I voiced my concern due to the fact that there were several out there and nobody could use them and things floating away, both times I was told they were going to come out of the boathouse and nobody did! Also, after our Thursday night dinner both my husband and I spent the evening getting sick which ****** for us and  our kids not being able to join in the activities. Meal plan is definitely over priced for the adults especially when you end up sick afterwards.

We needed a room due to weather conditions and being from out of the area. We were attending my daughter's wedding and had to make some very last minute changes which included my dog. The Hampton Inn was very accommodating. The location was perfect, the food and staff at the Hamptons in Barrie were exceptional and the accommodation was perfect. I suffer from PTSD and having my dear dog with me has helped immensely when staying at a hotel. I was very thankful that I was able to have her there. The staff and other guests loved her as she is a very sociable girl. Thank you for helping me with my last minute dilemma.  I must commend all of your staff especially the lady who works preparing for the breakfast rush and doing double duty cleaning rooms. Breakfast in the hotel I stayed in Canada was relatively good. There are many varieties of yogurt for breakfast, as well as several types of bread and hot tea. It may be late, no fruit can be found, the hotel room is relatively large, and the mattress is thick. Shower gel shampoo

Decent value for a one-night stay, especially if driving into Collingwood instead of paying Blue Mountain peak rates. Check-in was delayed due to a staff scheduling error, but they apologized sincerely. The king room was impressively spacious, plenty of hallway and luggage space, plus generous seating (armchair + dual seat), a luxurious king bed, table, dresser, and mini-fridge. Bathroom had a standard walk-in shower, but it felt cramped, opening the door fully scrunched the floor towel. AC ran loudly but kept humidity comfortable for Ontario. Breakfast was typical hotel fare (eggs, proteins, carbs), nothing special. Overall, an average but acceptable stay with good room size and bed comfort, despite minor quirks. Fine for budget-conscious travelers avoiding resort crowds.

Spacious room that was newly renovated. Biggest problem was the fridge leaking, but the staff was proactive to investigate the issue after we checked out. We're still waiting to hear back, but appreciated the recommendation to provide feedback.

It's good in a budget hotel, near the highway intersection on the edge of the city - convenient transportation and there are many large supermarkets next to it. I didn't expect the room to be quite big. During the epidemic, only breakfast was provided at the front desk. It is understandable that the room was not cleaned. After staying for three days, only myself will be able to keep it clean. The small city is still beautiful - the lake view is beautiful.

The service was very friendly and quick. Hotel room was spacious and clean. The only thing was the people who had a room above us sounded like they were pacing the floors all the way through the night (4am!) , but that is not the hotels fault though. Overall our stay was enjoyable.

The hotel has been renovated and is basic but perfectly adequate. There were guests in the hotel at different points of the week who were loud well into the night and the hotel staff weren’t able to manage that. Aside from the few other guests being inconsiderate, I had a comfortable stay.

When checking the hotel amenities before booking, it indicates that there is an elevator and a snack/bar deli on premises. I did not see either of these. We were fortunate to be on the ground floor, however friends were booked on second floor but fortunately were able to change rooms.
