Very good hotel, newly opened, but no taste, the room is spacious enough, clean and very comfortable to live, breakfast is also very good, very recommended cost-effective

My kids had been looking forward to our trip to Sayram Lake for a long time, and it finally happened this summer! The hotel is like a home away from home during a trip, and I'm so glad we chose the Intercity Hotel Sayram Lake. Staying two nights made the whole trip more relaxed and enjoyable. We chased the sunrise, captured photos of the stunning blue lake, and enjoyed precious family time by the shores of Sayram Lake. Location: The Intercity Hotel has an excellent location, very close to all the park entrances. Buying the 48-hour self-driving pass was definitely worth it. If you plan to catch the sunrise, this hotel is an unbeatable choice. By around 5 AM, staff were already checking tickets at the Old East Gate tourist spot. Facilities: Very new! The executive twin room isn't huge, but the layout is well-designed, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet (wet and dry separation). All the facilities are great, especially the showerhead – it's rare to find one so comfortable while traveling. Food: Breakfast, afternoon tea, and supper. We didn't have time for afternoon tea. But we did experience both breakfast and supper, and they were truly excellent. The coffee was decent, and I highly recommend drinking plenty of milk (it's super rich and creamy!). The handmade yogurt with banana chips was incredibly delicious! If I get a chance to come back in winter to see the ice formations, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

I always stay at HUAZHU hotels when I travel, but I saw a post on Xiaohongshu recommending Wangshan No. 1 and decided to book it! It completely exceeded my expectations; the service quality was 💯. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with excellent facilities, plus thoughtful touches like warm milk and snacks. Beyond that, there were many additional services, like the butler helping with laundry and drying, which was super convenient and didn't interrupt our plans at all. There was even complimentary coffee to take away when we left, which was surprisingly delicious—perhaps due to the fragrant milk. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Saihu!

This hotel is located in a newly developed area next to Sai Lake, so there's still a lot of construction happening around. It's not too far to drive to the scenic area entrance. The hotel environment is decent, and given its location by Sai Lake, prices are generally on the higher side, which is to be expected. They offer afternoon tea and coffee, along with dining options. You can even get the afternoon tea to go, and the food itself is pretty good, saving you the hassle of finding places to eat outside. The hotel is quite large and offers laundry service, which is very convenient. The rooms are new and in good condition.

When I booked the yurt, my simple desire was to bring my 4-and-a-half-year-old to experience Kazakh culture and a different way of life. But... Surprise 1: Located at the highest point of Sai Lake, I could wake up to watch the sunrise and even see the entire lake. For adults, the view is incredible. Surprise 2: The owners are a family of three. Their son is a handsome Kazakh man who speaks Mandarin the best in the family. He handles all customer communications, making communication seamless. The family is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they'll do their best to satisfy any request, as long as they can. Surprise 3: They have a herd of cattle, and another family on the hill behind them has a herd of sheep. They also have two sheepdogs and several horses. It's a truly delightful experience for children. They can play with the dogs, talk to the lambs, ride horses, and ride horses... And they even learned to distinguish between sheep and cow dung, as it's so common and natural. Surprise 4: For dinner, we ordered lamb skewers, braised lamb chops, and pilaf. Two adults and one child couldn't finish them all; the portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. The clear mutton soup had no mutton smell at all (it's best to order it in advance, as it takes about two hours to simmer). Of course, if you're choosing a yurt, you should be prepared. Only consider choosing one if you can accept the following: 1) There's no private toilet, only a dry toilet, and no showers. 2) There's a stove inside, and you have to add the charcoal yourself at night, otherwise it won't last until the next morning. 3) The standard of cleanliness should be comparable to other yurts, not five-star hotels. Overall, if I were to stay in this area again, I would still choose this yurt.

I chose the Muyun Shanjia Hotel for my trip to Sayram Lake, and the location is really convenient. You can walk to nearby supermarkets, shops, and unique restaurants. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, making for a comfortable stay overall. The front desk service was attentive and helpful with all my questions. I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel!

The yurt is at the north gate of Sailimu Lake. The location can directly see the lake. The boss will drive to the north gate to pick it up. The yurt is very large, even if it rains, it is much safer than camping. Heating is a charcoal stove. When you just burn it, you can wear short sleeves. It is a bit cold after the middle of the night. You can let the boss prepare some charcoal and wake up at night. The boss and the proprietress are very good. They can eat at home and experience authentic styles. After eating the mutton skewers, they didn’t have time to take pictures. The fried mutton should be braised. The mutton is very delicious. The sheep skin that was just killed in the morning is still on the ground. It is highly recommended to stay in the experience, you can watch the night view and sunset, and it is also convenient to get up early to watch the sunrise and drive around the lake. There are voles, sheep, cattle, horses and other small animals on the grass.

The room features a panoramic glass window, allowing you to enjoy the grassland scenery right from your bed. On a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of Sayram Lake. The room itself is very spacious, with excellent natural light and complete amenities. We also met a lovely, friendly black kitten at the camp. If you're visiting Sayram Lake and don't want to stay in a traditional hotel, I highly recommend this place. It's super convenient for watching both sunset and sunrise, and it's also very close to the scenic area.

This hotel is a great choice for visiting Sayram Lake. The view from the window is of windmills and grasslands – absolutely stunning and soothing. The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is warm and attentive, and the amenities are complete. It's convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset, and you can see the starry sky just above – what a beautiful place!

Staying in a yurt at Sayram Lake is an absolute treat! Not only do you get to witness the stunning golden sunrise over the mountains, but you also get to savor incredibly authentic Kazakh cuisine. The owner's hand-grabbed lamb, milk tea, and roasted meat are all phenomenal – so fresh and delicious. Enjoying a warm, home-style meal after watching the sunrise just fills you with so much joy! 🥩 The yurt's location is fantastic; step right out to breathtaking lake and snow-capped mountain views. After dinner, a stroll along the lake, with the breeze blowing, is pure bliss! The accommodation is also very clean and comfortable, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. Highly recommend!
