My three days at Xilamuren Star Campsite were honestly one of the highlights of my trip. Jiaohongjun, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I gor into the car with him. He also took the time to show me around the grasslands and answer all my questions along the way. The yurt was clean, very comfortable and in prestine condition. All resorts are remote from Hohhot, so we took a Didi from Hohhot to the resort. It took 1:50 hours. They resort itself is really nice. The yurts are comfortable and clean. We did horse riding, go car, saw a Mongolian show and every evening there is a fire show at the resort. A worker drove us to the activities. The food at the restaurant was a bit pricey but high quality.
