This was our first time visiting Sanqingshan Mountain, and going during off-peak season definitely meant less crowds. We took the Gangshou Cableway up to Jinsha and down, a painless hike. The guesthouse owner was incredibly kind; he helped us plan our route and reminded us to bring an extra jacket for the kids as it gets windy on the mountain. The jacket proved invaluable; otherwise, they would have definitely caught a cold. There were also adorable kittens to pet, which the kids loved.

The room was clean and tidy, close to the scenic area, and the host provided pick-up and drop-off service. The landlady's cooking was especially delicious. The fresh, tender fish was particularly amazing; I ate three bowls of rice with it in one go!
