This guesthouse was such a pleasant surprise! The overall environment is serene and peaceful, and the courtyard is tastefully decorated in a rustic, elegant style, with lush greenery creating a wonderful ambiance. It's full of authentic local ethnic charm; the architecture, decor, and ornaments are all unique and distinctly regional, making it a fantastic spot for photos. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, offering meticulous and thoughtful service. They were quick to help with any requests, making us feel like family. The room was clean, tidy, and cozily furnished, providing a quiet and comfortable stay. It was a fully immersive experience of local customs, and I'd give it a perfect score. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The room is exactly as pictured, so I won't show it much. I'll just show you the surrounding environment and scenery. The host is a local Nu ethnic minority member (Teacher Chen), and also an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage. Their folk songs are beautiful, and there's a demonstration of unique Nu musical instruments. If you want to learn about Nu culture, this is a good choice. It's a sisterly business; the older sister manages accommodation, and the younger sister manages catering. On the afternoon of our visit, we chose a local free-range chicken for dinner, which was delicious! 😋 The breakfast provided was also excellent; the eggs seemed to be from their own chickens, not factory-farmed chickens. Now, let's talk about the location. Laomudeng is located at a relatively high altitude. It rained and fogged the day we went, with visibility around three meters. There are many hairpin bends, and we didn't see a single house halfway up the mountain, almost thinking we were on the wrong road. Personally, I think the mountain road in Laomudeng is even more dangerous than the Bayinbuluke track in the movie ”Pegasus.” Parking is mostly on the roadside, and the road is a bit narrow, making both driving and parking quite challenging.

Facilities: Basically complete. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: Convenient for enjoying the scenery in the morning. Service: Good. The food tastes good and the price is reasonable.

The location is excellent; sitting in the room or on the platform, you can see Crown Peak of Gaoligong Mountain. Crown Peak was a landmark for the Flying Tigers on the Hump airlift during the Anti-Japanese War, and looking up at the mountain brings good luck. Breakfast was not included when I placed the order, but the owner prepared a complimentary breakfast upon check-in. The room facilities were a bit old, but the owner's warm service made up for it. I forgot a small item in the room when I checked out, and the owner called to ask for my address and sent it to my home by courier. I was extremely grateful!

The hotel is very clean and can be said to be one of the best. The boss will pick you up when you arrive at your destination and help with luggage. He is very enthusiastic. You can see the church and Crown Mountain from the terrace next to the church. You can also eat here while staying here. I ordered two dishes, and the taste is definitely better than most restaurants. There is also breakfast in the morning, so you can eat well before setting off! recommend!

The boss is honest and amiable. He upgraded the room. We even drank tea and chatted with him in the evening. We were very happy. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is also the highest in Laomudeng Village. The room faces Crown Peak. The breakfast is customized and includes toppings and bitter chowder. The cakes are freshly made and very delicious.

The guest rooms had black marks on the floor, air conditioning but wasn't very effective at heating, and electric blankets were provided. The double rooms had single beds that could sleep two people. It's located in Laomudeng Village; turn left at the fork in the road, and the Yunshang Guanfang Hotel is up there. The tea factory has tea and a small shop selling three meals a day. Further along the road, you can hike and stroll, and there are many tea factories and shops offering views of Crown Mountain and the snow-capped mountains. Walking back downhill leads to Zhiziluo Old Town. There are many restaurants, accommodations, and local specialties. The owners are very hospitable, cooking for guests late into the night and preparing breakfast in the morning. You can drink alcohol or tea.
