Hongya Hotels with Breakfast

As someone who frequently travels for business and stays in hotels and guesthouses, I rarely write reviews because things rarely impress me anymore. However, this experience was exceptionally different, so I highly recommend trying it if you're ever in Liujiang Ancient Town. First of all, the service was incredibly warm and attentive. My girlfriend suddenly got her period, and the staff member kindly offered her complimentary ginger and brown sugar water, and even recommended nearby restaurants and photo spots. The location is excellent, right next to the Liujiang River, and the decor is beautiful and perfect for taking pictures. It's photogenic both day and night. The rooftop, first-floor steps, and indoor areas all face the river and have a terrace. The restaurant offers a wide selection of tea, coffee, drinks, and alcoholic beverages, and there's also a lovely courtyard. It's ideal for couples, friends, or groups. The rooms were clean and hygienic, equipped with convenient smart devices, and quite spacious. The toiletries were also comprehensive and of high quality.

- Simple Tour Routes: There are two main tour routes in the scenic area. One involves taking a cable car to see the sea of ​​clouds, and the other requires hiking to see the primeval forest. The routes are not complicated, and tourists can choose according to their physical strength and preferences. - Excellent Guesthouse Experience: There are many characteristic guesthouses around Wawu Mountain that have received high praise from tourists. For example, Hebao Mountain Villa has a beautiful courtyard environment, attentive service from the owner, and offers delicious fish with mint, noodles, eggs, and milk for breakfast. The accommodation has underfloor heating, unlimited private hot spring baths with freshly filled water for each guesthouse, and complimentary welcome fruit. It is suitable for self-driving tourists and families with children. Environment: Excellent location with direct views of Ya'er Lake. The rooms are clean and hygienic, with beds and tables mostly made of natural wood, environmentally friendly and comfortable. The owner is warm and friendly, and the restaurant serves delicious food. The overall guest experience is good. Cleanliness: Newly opened in 2025, the environment is well-maintained.

Very welcoming at the hotel, nice view. Upgraded us to a room with balcony, warm flooring , clean room and facilities. Went to their restaurant for dinner, they offer we may eat in our room, but we ok with having dinner at the restaurant. Food tasted great. The breakfast though simple but was nice and yummy. We love the ”小度‘ smart home as well as the projector tv. Watched 2 movie. Great. The view from the room & balcony were super.

The B&B is next to the Wawu Mountain Scenic Area, which can be said to be the ceiling of B&Bs. Facilities: Very complete, bedding is clean and tidy, bathroom has plenty of hot water, floor heating and electric blankets are available, the window is full of scenery, eating downstairs is convenient and hygienic, the whole feeling of staying in the hotel is really good, the proprietress is very friendly and enthusiastic, the next day it was cold and rainy, the proprietress took the initiative to lend me a wool coat to go to Wawu Mountain, it was really warm, if you also come to Wawu Mountain, you can't go wrong by choosing Shanwai Lai Ke B&B

Our family of three stayed in a family room. Since our children were adults, we called ahead to confirm three beds, which were very comfortable and not crowded at all. The hotel was very nice and clean. There were three hot springs, and the front desk lady was very helpful, providing tips and services. Unfortunately, our arrival was delayed by heavy rain, preventing us from climbing Mount Emei. Instead, we drove to the nearby Liujiang Ancient Town and Guangming Temple. Guangming Temple is highly recommended, and a must-see if you're not in a hurry. The temple also offers vegetarian meals, rice paddies, lotus ponds, and a hydrangea gallery. So, even if you can't hike, staying at this hotel is a great way to relax and recuperate. It's well worth it.

We drove to Wawu Mountain with our son from Luzhou, and stayed in Hongya for another night on the way back. We chose this hotel, slept in naturally and didn't go for breakfast. The hotel is really good, though. We stayed in a high-definition cinema room with a free membership, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby!

We ate yellow beef on the right-hand side after leaving the guesthouse; it was very authentic, and the owner was very welcoming.

The room I booked was on the side closest to the road, so it was a bit noisy. The triple room and double room were the same size. Overall, it was okay; the more expensive rooms offer direct views of Ya'nü Lake.

Fourth, the check-in experience is really poor, the voltage is unstable, so the lights have been flashing during the rest, and the sound insulation is very poor. I was woken up without waking up in the morning on the first floor. I have been noisy. The bedroom at home is closed. There is no way. Overall, this price is not cheap. If this price is slightly remote in Chengdu, you can also live in a better chain, so it can't be compared with the chain, but considering the remote location, the surrounding scenic spots are not incomprehensible, so in general, the price is mostly in the location, As for the accommodation experience, it is probably around the pass line.
