Pingxiang Hotels with Breakfast

I chose this hotel for this trip, and it completely exceeded my expectations! The front desk lady proactively helped with our luggage and even gave us slippers and a picture book for our children—such thoughtful details. The room was huge, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The best part was the small balcony, where my child spent the entire afternoon admiring the flowers in the community garden and refused to leave. The breakfast was incredible! The buffet area had a huge variety, not just the usual suspects like steamed buns and porridge. My favorite part was when we checked out, the front desk staff heard we were catching a high-speed train and proactively called a ride-hailing service, even notifying the driver in advance to pick us up at the station. This kind of ”treating guests like family” service is truly rare! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in this city!

Lovely hosts, beautiful rooms, and amazing home-cooked food! The hosts are extremely hospitable and spared no efforts to ensure that we were comfortable and well-prepared for our hike. They are great cooks and dinner often consists of locally sourced produce (bamboo shoots from the nearby mountain, home-cured meats, home-grown yams etc.) The local palate is on the spicy side, but they were more than willing to accomodate our weak tongues. In terms of location, the homestay is located right next to a stream, so close that you can hear it if you open your windows, and is conveniently located about 1km away from the trailhead. The outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax and unwind with tea, snacks, and the sounds of the babbling brook. We arrived in Pingxiang and took a 1 hour car ride to the homestay - easily found on the map and not hard to navigate to at all. Overall, definitely recommend this homestay if you intend to conquer Wugong shan! P.S. they also have 2 lovely dogs.

There are advantages, but the disadvantages are fatal. I am very polite for not giving a bad review below 4 points. The following is an objective and fair evaluation. Advantages: 1. Convenience: It is not far from the bus station and the downtown street, 200 meters away; it is close to the Wugong Mountain trail entrance, 100 meters away on foot; it is close to the commercial street, 50 meters away on foot, and it is convenient for shopping and eating. 2. Quiet: The hotel is not on the street in the downtown area, and most of the rooms are on the mountain side, which is relatively quiet. The bedding is OK and conducive to sleep. 3. The hotel environment is good: The overall garden design of the hotel is good, with a back garden, a small viewing platform, and a small reservoir on the back mountain. It is nice to take a walk after dinner. 4. The hotel is equipped with a foot bath bucket, which is very considerate. Disadvantages: 1. The hotel does not turn on the cold air conditioning: I checked in for the last 3 days of April, and there were not many people. I can understand that the hotel does not turn on the air conditioning and dehumidification in the public areas in order to save costs, but it was so hot during those days, why turn off the cooling of the guest rooms and let the air conditioning heat cycle in the guest rooms? The good point is that after reporting to the staff, the cooling was turned on. 2. The air conditioner smells musty: It is really very strong. We asked a technician to come into the room to fix it. The technician was speechless and said that there was no way. We stayed for 3 days and did not turn on the air conditioner at night for fear of fainting in the room due to the stench. The hot air circulation and the musty smell of the air conditioner made the three of us feel that the hotel accommodation was the biggest failure of this trip. BTW, on the day of check-out on May 1, the central air conditioner and lights in the lobby were turned on. It felt that the guests at the end of April were not human beings, and our experience was not important. 2. Facility design defects: The shower area is not designed reasonably, the waterproof platform at the door opening is too low, the sealing under the door is not enough, the door opens outward, the water is a little bigger and the shower head does not lean inward, you will feel what it means to flood the Jinshan Mountain. 4. Service: The 3 nights were divided into several orders. After the order of the first night ended, before checking out, the hotel staff added WeChat and asked to give a 5-star review and asked to bring the name of a certain employee. I said that I would make a unified comment after checking out, but the service staff still asked to comment on the day this order ended. I was speechless. I can understand that there are KPI indicators, but it is too bad for good impression.

Five-star praise! 1. It is indeed very close to the gate of Wugong Mountain Scenic Area. The free shuttle bus stop of the scenic area is near the gate, just a few steps away. It is convenient to take a taxi or carpool from the high-speed rail station, without any extra detours. 2. The restaurant on the first floor can order three meals. The pot is full of flavor, the ingredients are fresh, and the price is reasonable. I had a full meal. There are residential houses around, and there are not many restaurants. This homestay can provide meals. I really recommend it. 3. The room is reasonably designed, with clothes drying racks and small sofas, which are especially suitable for mountain climbers to rest during transit. 4. The climbing bamboo poles are provided free of charge, and it seems that the scenic area charges a fee. 5. The staff are very warm and polite, and they will answer any questions.

We had a fantastic time, and the guesthouse was wonderful. The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service was super convenient. The hosts and their family are absolute pros behind the wheel – fast yet incredibly safe! The owner's cooking was delicious; I especially recommend the stir-fried pork with chili (xiaochao rou). Highly recommend staying here! Pingxiang is a lovely city, and its people are just as great. We'll definitely be back!

Because the temperature was low during the Spring Festival, the air conditioner was frozen, resulting in no air conditioning in the room. It was extremely cold! The landlady was very enthusiastic and brought some warm air to remedy the situation, but it was of little use, better than nothing. I couldn’t rest well anyway! The environment is very good. The proprietress cooked the soup noodles and squeezed the soy milk herself for breakfast. It tasted good. What I am not satisfied with is the air conditioning. The room I booked in advance did not have air conditioning and the price was not reduced. The two rooms I booked later only paid a fraction of the price. I felt it was not worth it. In addition, I personally think that the merchant should explain the air conditioning problem in advance, so that we can choose to change our accommodation instead of being forced to make do with it. Aside from the air conditioning issue, everything else is fine!

The hotel is in a good location, only ten minutes' drive from Wugong Mountain. There is also a pick-up and drop-off service, but you need to make an appointment in advance. The service attitude of the front desk cc is also very enthusiastic, and the hot spring is also very nice. I recommend it. I would like to make a small suggestion that the indoor children's playground can be opened earlier. It will not open until noon and cannot be played in the morning.

100% positive reviews. I stayed at this hotel for only over 200 yuan on a weekend in the off-season. The price-performance ratio is very high. The room is large and spacious, and the bathroom is very clean. There is a main road and a shopping mall downstairs, but the room is well soundproofed and not noisy. Pingxiang College, Nanzheng Ancient Street, and Wenhua Road Pedestrian Street are all nearby. If you are going to climb the mountain the next day, you can go downstairs to buy all the supplies. The Snickers in the supermarket are much cheaper than on the mountain. There is also an Autumn Harvest Uprising Monument next to it. Sister He at the front desk is warm-hearted. This hotel is very comfortable to stay in.

I was very lucky to stay at this homestay during my journey through Wugong Mountain. The boss is a beautiful woman with a lot of life. It is very good. I climb the mountain alone. She will carefully tell me to pay attention to safety. If there is something to call her at any time, I will help me hot breakfast on the day of check-out and order a ride. This is a warm homestay. Special emphasis is placed on her bed is really comfortable. I have stayed in many hotels. Her bed can be ranked in the top three. It is super good to sleep! ! ! The campsite service was excellent; the toilets were clean and hygienic, although the paid shower water wasn't very hot. November temperatures were low, and the tents were arranged inside one large tent, with four smaller tents inside each large tent. Despite the wind blowing all night, it was still better than my own flimsy tent. The service center was very warm and well-lit, and the downstairs shop sold instant noodles and drinks; you could also sit on the second floor and eat while charging your devices. Hot water was free at the campsite. Overall, it was very good.
