Xuancheng Hotels with Breakfast

The room facilities were quite nice, and the environment was also nice, but it felt like the owner wasn't paying attention. Before we went, I asked if there was a stream in front of or behind the house for children to play in, and they said there was one (very casually). (After all, we were tourists and unfamiliar with the terrain, so a recommendation from a local was crucial). Upon arrival, they confirmed it was right behind the house. We went to take a look, carrying our gear. It was a reservoir, I guess. People were fishing—you guessed it! We turned back again! The breakfast left me speechless. 😓 We went downstairs around 7:30 in the morning, and they told us there was nothing left (there were five of us). There was only a small bowl of porridge, a steamed bun, a fried dough stick, a little soy milk, and noodles. No more words~

I chose Guangde for a weekend trip, specifically to experience the highly-rated 'Guangde Three-Piece Set'. After a long search, I decided to stay at the Guangde New Century Hotel, which has consistently good reviews. However, there was a minor hiccup on the night I checked in: the room felt quite stuffy and hot, likely due to the changing seasons. I called the front desk, and they explained that the central air conditioning couldn't be switched to cooling mode at the moment. While I understand the hotel's operational logic, being someone who's sensitive to heat, I didn't get much rest that night and felt quite tired the next day. When checking out, a young man with glasses (I forgot his name) proactively asked about my stay. When I mentioned the heat in the room, he didn't just give a cold, perfunctory response. Instead, he apologized very sincerely and kindly, showing genuine empathy, which immediately diffused any frustration I had. He also noticed I had my little ones with me and gave them two packs of peach crisps. It was a very heartwarming gesture. As a parent, these small acts of consideration for children really hit home. Overall, everything was great. But if the central air conditioning can't provide cooling or heating due to seasonal changes, leading to a poor guest experience, that's really not worth it. I suggest the hotel invest in more fans, portable air conditioners, and other solutions. If I come back to Guangde, I'd most likely stay at New Century Grand Hotel again because, apart from the AC issue, everything else would get a perfect score.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations and felt every bit like a classic five-star hotel. The room is modern, beautiful, and thoughtfully appointed, with little conveniences like bedside charging panels and even a wireless charging pad. The bed is enormous, the pillows and duvet feel luxurious, and although the mattress was slightly firmer than I’m used to (quite typical in China), I still slept extremely well thanks to the excellent blackout curtains. The shower had fantastic water pressure and plenty of hot water. I almost never use hotel toiletries, but I genuinely enjoyed these; they were high quality and wonderfully fragrant. Check-in and check-out were both quick and effortless, and breakfast had a generous selection, including a noodle station, plenty of fresh fruit, and both Chinese and Western options. The location is also excellent. Just around the corner is a lively food street and night market, with Luckin Coffee, supermarkets, a fruit shop, and a pharmacy all within a few minutes’ walk. If I return to Ningguo, I would stay here again. 这家酒店真的超出了我的预期，完全有五星级酒店的水准。房间现代漂亮，布置得很贴心，床头有充电面板，甚至还有无线充电，非常方便。床很大，枕头和被子都很舒服。虽然床垫对我这个外国人来说稍微偏硬一点（这在国内很常见），但配合遮光效果很好的窗帘，我还是睡得特别好。淋浴的水压很足，热水也很稳定。我平时几乎不用酒店的洗护用品，但这里的品质很好，香味也很舒服，让我印象深刻。 入住和退房都非常快捷，早餐选择丰富，有现煮面档、水果，以及中西式餐点。酒店位置也很方便，转个弯就是美食街和夜市，附近还有瑞幸咖啡、超市、水果店和药店，生活非常便利。 如果以后再来宁国，我还会住这里。

A wonderful find in Jixi, Anhui! We had a fantastic stay at the Jixi Dengyuan Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel has clearly been recently renovated and it shows. Everything feels fresh, clean, and modern, making for a very comfortable stay. It is clear a lot of care has gone into the refurbishment. The staff were absolutely outstanding. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help, they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. That kind of hospitality really elevates a stay. The location near the Dengyuan River Bridge is also a great bonus, putting you within easy reach of the local scenery and attractions that make Jixi such a special destination. We will definitely be back. If you are heading to Jixi, this hotel is an easy choice!

I was lucky enough to book a suite this time. The room was super large and the bathroom and bathtub were so clean I couldn't bear to use them. My child was diligently doing homework in the living room while I watched TV in the bedroom without disturbing each other. The front desk staff was very warm and proactively provided children's toiletries and slippers. The breakfast ingredients were fresh and hygienic, and the beef noodles and tripe were really delicious. 😋 I've definitely recommended this hotel to my friends. It's a very cost-effective hotel.

Four-star hotel, very grand, it is indeed a model base for elderly care, the room is large, the basic facilities are pretty good, because it has been a little smelly after a long time, it is acceptable, but the toilet in our room is a little shaky, the children are not stable to sit. The breakfast is not satisfactory, a little hungry, it is recommended to eat early breakfast if you go, the noodles are still good. There is nothing to eat around, our family drove to the city to eat at night, and it took a few minutes to get to the square, KFC, Lao Xiangji snacks and hot pot. It is still recommended, it is full during the May Day holiday.

The hotel is in a good location, about 20 minutes walk from Chun'an Street. There is also a bus at the entrance of the hotel. It takes 6 or 7 yuan to take a taxi. The lobby is simple and atmospheric. The front desk lady is warm and thoughtful. When you see the children, you take the initiative to provide children's supplies. The room is spacious and bright, the bed is comfortable, the environment is quiet, and the lighting is good. But as an old hotel in Guangde, a few points can be improved. The 2 elevators have no linkage function. The peak efficiency is low. The toothbrush brush is hard. If the smart toilet can be equipped with remote control, it will be more perfect.

This is a beautiful hotel, clean and well equipped. I am lucky to have a balcony with a table & chairs. From the balcony can see the Qingyi Jiang 青弋江. The leisure chair beside the bed allows you to rest comfortably. It's just beside the gallery for the making of Xuan papers 宣纸, the complimentary entrance ticket for the guests. It's worth viewing if you would like to know more about Xuan Papers. There's a bus stop in walking distance, but the trips are rather limited.

This trip to Guangde was a fantastic three-in-one experience. The Haoli Hotel, where I stayed, was a pleasant surprise. The hotel environment was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and I had a wonderful rest. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the government building, with a huge parking lot and comprehensive amenities. Compared to other hotels, it offers excellent value for money, and the smart technology in the room was also very good. Overall, I was very satisfied and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guangde – a truly wonderful experience!
