GGuest UserThe room facilities were quite nice, and the environment was also nice, but it felt like the owner wasn't paying attention. Before we went, I asked if there was a stream in front of or behind the house for children to play in, and they said there was one (very casually). (After all, we were tourists and unfamiliar with the terrain, so a recommendation from a local was crucial). Upon arrival, they confirmed it was right behind the house. We went to take a look, carrying our gear. It was a reservoir, I guess. People were fishing—you guessed it! We turned back again! The breakfast left me speechless. 😓 We went downstairs around 7:30 in the morning, and they told us there was nothing left (there were five of us). There was only a small bowl of porridge, a steamed bun, a fried dough stick, a little soy milk, and noodles. No more words~

GGuest UserI chose Guangde for a weekend trip, specifically to experience the highly-rated 'Guangde Three-Piece Set'. After a long search, I decided to stay at the Guangde New Century Hotel, which has consistently good reviews.
However, there was a minor hiccup on the night I checked in: the room felt quite stuffy and hot, likely due to the changing seasons. I called the front desk, and they explained that the central air conditioning couldn't be switched to cooling mode at the moment. While I understand the hotel's operational logic, being someone who's sensitive to heat, I didn't get much rest that night and felt quite tired the next day. When checking out, a young man with glasses (I forgot his name) proactively asked about my stay. When I mentioned the heat in the room, he didn't just give a cold, perfunctory response. Instead, he apologized very sincerely and kindly, showing genuine empathy, which immediately diffused any frustration I had. He also noticed I had my little ones with me and gave them two packs of peach crisps. It was a very heartwarming gesture. As a parent, these small acts of consideration for children really hit home.
Overall, everything was great. But if the central air conditioning can't provide cooling or heating due to seasonal changes, leading to a poor guest experience, that's really not worth it. I suggest the hotel invest in more fans, portable air conditioners, and other solutions. If I come back to Guangde, I'd most likely stay at New Century Grand Hotel again because, apart from the AC issue, everything else would get a perfect score.

Although it's not in the city center, there are convenient late-night food stalls nearby, offering a quiet yet lively atmosphere. The receptionist, Xiao Zhou, provided excellent service and arranged a suitable room for us. It was very good.

GGuest UserI was lucky enough to book a suite this time. The room was super large and the bathroom and bathtub were so clean I couldn't bear to use them. My child was diligently doing homework in the living room while I watched TV in the bedroom without disturbing each other. The front desk staff was very warm and proactively provided children's toiletries and slippers. The breakfast ingredients were fresh and hygienic, and the beef noodles and tripe were really delicious. 😋 I've definitely recommended this hotel to my friends. It's a very cost-effective hotel.

GGuest UserFour-star hotel, very grand, it is indeed a model base for elderly care, the room is large, the basic facilities are pretty good, because it has been a little smelly after a long time, it is acceptable, but the toilet in our room is a little shaky, the children are not stable to sit.
The breakfast is not satisfactory, a little hungry, it is recommended to eat early breakfast if you go, the noodles are still good. There is nothing to eat around, our family drove to the city to eat at night, and it took a few minutes to get to the square, KFC, Lao Xiangji snacks and hot pot. It is still recommended, it is full during the May Day holiday.

GGuest UserThis time I came to Jixian to play and stayed at the Hantang Paper Mill Hotel. The experience was really real and I really recommended it. The hotel is in the Xuanzhi Industrial Park. The environment is quiet, the Huizhou courtyard style is very comfortable, there is no over-decoration, and it looks clean and elegant. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the living is very practical.
The service attitude is gentle and thoughtful, the check-in is fast, and the problem is answered in a timely manner. The dining is a local taste, the dishes are sufficient, the taste is authentic, and you can eat at ease. The most distinctive thing is that you can feel the paper culture up close, visit the workshop, experience handmade, adults and children feel interesting.
Convenient location, sufficient parking, close to surrounding attractions, worry-free travel. The overall cost-effective, no exaggerated, no routine, live in peace of mind and comfort, come here to travel, vacation, walk the baby is very suitable, will choose here next time.

Eeliyahu. sIt was very, very hot in the room because the window faces the sun and the curtain and also the air conditioner is not strong enough. . They really tried to help but they didn't know English.... they moved me to another room without a window with an unpleasant smell so I went back to the first room... at night it was more pleasant and it was fine... overall good people

GGuest UserJixi County is very small, but the environment is beautiful. The location of the hotel personally feels that it is in the old city. It is still possible to drive by car. A river-circle trail is too suitable for walking at night. Magnolia Chain Hotel is affordable.

AAnonymous UserThis stay experience really exceeded expectations! You must praise this hotel's twin room ~ two 1.5 meters of bed is too conscience! I have lived in many hotels before, and I always feel that I am crowded and have to be careful when I turn over. But the bed here can be fully stretched free of charge, the mattress is moderately firm, the bedding is clean and refreshing, the night sleep is particularly heavy, and the morning is comfortable. In addition to the bedding, the room is very clean as a whole, the front desk service is also very warm, and the check-in and check-out are very efficient. In short, these two spacious and comfortable beds are worth highly recommending! I will choose this one next time.
