Karlsruhe Hotels with Breakfast

The furnishings and size of the barrier-free room (533) are, as always with Radisson Hotels, pleasantly spacious and really great, the sleeping comfort in terms of the mattress is excellent, the friendliness of the reception staff is particularly great, the windows seal perfectly against traffic noise. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, the traces of the ”previous tenant's” use are clearly visible, the room is generally slightly dusty. The enormous, continuous noise level from the air conditioning machine room directly adjacent to the room is a massive imposition, and is only inaudible at night until around 4:30 a.m. Since I am constantly traveling in hotels, I am less sensitive to noise, but the noise was not even able to be dealt with with earplugs and a duvet. Bad luck!

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the main station. If you check in the apartment part of the hotel, you can also use the reception of the normal hotel. This is not equally visible. First I had Apartment 1. (Photos) The third bed announced is just a seat here! Since there is a sound brumton fab here that didn't allow me to turn off, I got a new apartment in the first floor. There was a large bed sofa to the bed. Unfortunately, this was already completely out of the bed and was given so much room was laid. In both apartments, it was necessary to clean it right again. On the cake-line shell was a large dust layer each. The bed itself was large and very pleasant. With the motorized rollers it really becomes dark. The windows contain all the noise from outside in the house, but it is quite bright. The water pressure in the shower could be better and the shower donor was empty and not re-filled. Also the tea bags rich that included in Apartment 1 tea bags but was not filled in Apartment 16 after the last guest. Wi-Fi was stable.

Free parking. Room is clean and just nice. There's a small kitchen but without any cooking tools so unless you're bringing cooking tools, you can't cook. It is out of nowhere and it looks like a conversion of office building to hotel rooms. I have no issue with it and it worked out for me.

If we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service. The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had. Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room. The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that. The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

Towards the end of my trip, I left some clothes and shoes here and totally forgot my beloved floral hair tie. So sad! Overall, the hotel was quite good, seemingly a corporate-rate hotel or similar. This was the most affordable night of my trip (I didn't book breakfast; if I had, it would probably be the second most affordable). Everything met my expectations, and the transportation was convenient.

The location is very good, as it is not in the city but also not too far from it. The cinema is not far away either. The breakfast is sufficient and there is something for everyone. The room is nice and well equipped, but unfortunately there is no closet where you can store your suitcase. But that's not really a problem, there is a wardrobe or something similar with coat hangers. In the bathroom you will find a hairdryer, hygiene bags, tissues and shampoo with shower gel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are enough parking spaces next to the hotel and nearby.

Nice hotel in the heart of the city , easy to get from the train station to the hotel , also walking distance from karlsruhe schloss , staatliches museum , and Christmas market , located on the town Main Street that is full of shops , restaurants , its common to see people struggle with the check in process can be confusing and not for everyone so they should improve the check in machine

Location is Uber central. It is infact quite excellently situated. Staff are superb. Very friendly and helpful indeed. The price was very good, and based on that - the value is about as good as it gets in Germany. Room contained a desk, chair, TV, longer chair, bed side lamp, reading lamp, multiple outlets, 2x towel, 1x bath mat and complimentary shampoo soap at the sink and shower. There were multiple radiators at your disposal and tissue paper and bathroom paper. The single room was a good sized with a large window. Everything was clean. There was a place to store bicycles or indeed borrow those offered. Breakfast was available though I didn't try. There is also an elevator. Again...for the price paid it is deserving of 5/5.

It was convenient because there were many rewe or Döner houses nearby, and there was a tram in the city in 5 minutes on foot.
