Heraklion Hotels with Breakfast

It is relatively convenient to get to Cullersburg, the bus station and the central square. You can almost reach it by walking 500 meters. Take bus 2 to Knossos Palace. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, and the breakfast is rich and constantly improved according to our needs. The hotel can also help with sightseeing arrangements. Because it is difficult to go to Spinalonga Island in the off-season (it is closed on weekdays), but Mary helped contact the taxi driver, carefully planned the route and plan for us, and continued to discuss it. On the day of our visit, the driver also learned that there were temporary closures on the island. We are a group, so we can be open to us by the way, so that there will be no regrets in the journey!

Stayed here 1 night as an extra night due to late flight arrival times so we didn’t burn a day at our all inclusive. Hotel is brand new, clean, comfortable and very well located. As a family of 4 we had a double joining room. Staff were absolutely brilliant and went out their way to be so friendly and nice. It had a small gym but all good equipment, perfect for a short stay, breakfast buffet was decent for a short stay… Would highly recommend if you want a modern, clean and nice hotel. We spent the part of the day exploring Heraklion before heading to Panormos to our all inclusive. A+

It exceeded my expectations! After getting off the bus from the airport to the city center, the hotel was just a few minutes' walk away. Everything was within walking distance, and the bus stop for Knossos Palace was nearby, making it incredibly convenient. The staff were kind and even upgraded my room, allowing me to comfortably enjoy a clean and spacious room. The hotel had a great atmosphere, making for a relaxing stay. Daily cleaning was impeccable, and there was complimentary bottled water in the refrigerator and a tea set provided. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it included Cretan specialties and was of excellent quality. I was very satisfied. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Heraklion.

A fantastic hotel, just 200 meters from the Cretan Archaeological Museum. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel to Knossos Palace; a round trip costs €5. The room I booked was great, the bathroom was clean, and it had a balcony, but it was a bit noisy at night because it's near the road. Also, it's a bit far from the beach, so the sea view isn't great. There was a kettle and complimentary bottled water. The breakfast was excellent, served per person, and I couldn't finish it all. The coffee was the best I've had at breakfast in years. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Heraklion.

We recently stayed at the Metropole and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

I had a lovely 2 days stay here! The staff was helpful and friendly, room service was excellent too! This was the nicest hotel for a great price! I chose the budget room and will come back again! Also, I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast! Cheers!

Hotel location is convenient, breakfast is average, but more fruits, extra points. Hygienic conditions were average. The only time I had been in this hotel for two months was that I had been bitten by a few bales, which was really annoying. The old gentleman at the reception was good, the recommended restaurant was delicious.

Looks great in the pictures, though it's quite old, the walls are dirty, the toilet is dripping constantly. It's a very basic hotel, that's why I believe the price I paid wasn't worth it. Buffet at the 6th floor has a nice view of the port, and breakfast looks ok for €8, I haven't eaten there. They squiz fresh oranges! Lovely staff!

The hotel service staff is kind and enthusiastic in introducing recommended attractions and restaurants nearby. There is convenient parking on the roadside around the hotel, and there are also supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby, making life functions very convenient. The room is huge.

The Hotel Irakion is right in the centre of te Cretan capital. Excellent position to visit all attractions, museum, Lion Square etc or to just wander around taking in the atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants nearby. An open grill opposite the hotel was perfect to get a souvlaki to take back at night and eat it on the balcony with ouzo from the small 24 hour shop opposite hotel. The hotel itself I well run, clean. Has 24 hour reception. The room offered everything needed, hot shower, toiletries, plenty of loo roll towels and a fridge. Comfy large beds. Balcony with table and chairs. They also provided a decent hot and cold buffet to suit almost all tastes. The breakfast sets you up for the day of whatever you're doing next. Enjoy Greece 🇬🇷
