Yogyakarta Hotels with Breakfast

We love the location of this Hotel. Easy to walk to the nearest shopping areas. Breakfast spread is good although this is within the fasting period. Only one small comment is the Bathing room is very slippery when showering. I slipped and fall while bathing, lucky that I didn't knock on to the glass panel or the wall. Suggest to have bathing mat at the showering point. Overall for my friends and I are very satisfy with the stay at Harper Hotel.

This hotel is located near Malioboro, the most famous pedestrian street in Yogyakarta, and it's very quiet at night. The hotel is relatively new, so the facilities are also quite modern. You can stay here with peace of mind. I didn't try the breakfast, but I assume it's also excellent.

1. The hotel staff provided excellent and friendly service. 2. The hotel ambiance is luxurious. 3. The hotel also has a pleasant and refreshing scent. 4. The welcome drink was refreshing when I checked in during the day, and in the evening it was like ginger tea. 5. The room also met my request: clean, fragrant, tidy, with great facilities, and the AC was wonderfully cold. 6. The swimming pool and gym are also excellent. 7. Highly recommended as a choice, especially since as a resident of Gading Serpong, the hotel is within walking distance to Kopi Tuku, Gudeg Sagan, Tugu Jogja, and Malioboro. In short, this hotel is incredibly strategic, simply the best.

1. Arrived at 2:30 PM, but was told the room wasn't ready, even though check-in was stated as 2:00 PM. Had to wait around 30 minutes, and the room was only ready at 3:00 PM. 2. The shower pressure was really weak, not pleasant for bathing. 3. There was a lot of small trash in the corners of the room. 4. The swimming pool was incredibly small, my child was so disappointed. 5. The room was extremely NOT soundproof. I could clearly hear people talking in the next room, and it was quite noisy. Pros: 1. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety and tasty options. 2. The location is great. 3. The rooftop cafe is beautiful, and the food there is also delicious and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there were many people smoking.

Very trendy, cool hotel, I especially loved the restaurant on the ground floor. Very good quality and cheap dishes. The room quite ok, but my window had no view - facing a wall of another building, and a bit of mold in the shower soap holder corners. To sum up, I really enjoined my stay, they even had a lion dance show for the Chinese New Year.

Location: Right off Malioboro Street. It's super convenient, just a short walk to Malioboro Center and the TransJogja bus stop, and about a 10-minute walk to Yogyakarta Station. The street in front of the hotel is quite narrow and gets busy with people, cars, and motorbikes, so walking can be a bit challenging. Room: The room wasn't spacious, but it was clean, and everything I needed was compactly arranged. My room didn't have a window, so it would have been much better if it were a bit brighter. The toilet and shower were in separate cubicles. The air conditioning was very effective; I came back tired from the heat outside, left it on, fell asleep, and ended up catching a cold! Breakfast: The buffet mainly featured Indonesian dishes, and it was delicious. You could choose to eat in the courtyard or indoors. The courtyard seemed to be more popular. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance.

The hotel is located on a small street, not too far from the train station, but the distance is awkward – a bit too far to walk comfortably, and taking a taxi can be a nightmare due to traffic (it took 30 minutes by taxi at 8 PM). When we were leaving Yogyakarta, it was incredibly difficult to get a taxi from the hotel; we had to wait about 20 minutes each time, and eventually ended up taking two trishaws. The room felt like an old house that had been given a quick paint job. The bathroom was quite basic, especially the shower area, which was tiny and had no door, so water sprayed everywhere, leaving the floor soaking wet. However, I'd give the service five stars. The room was cleaned thoroughly and meticulously, and the front desk staff were all very warm and responsible. The hotel breakfast was quite rich with a good variety, but it was all Indonesian style, which might not suit a Chinese palate.

The breakfast is varied and offers a delicious selection of dishes. My friend even went for seconds, haha! As for the location, it's on Solo street, so it's close to everything. Another great perk is the spacious parking lot. Cars can enter and exit easily, which is very convenient. The security staff also deserve praise; they are friendly and quick to assist guests.

This is amazing hotel for its price. First of all, the room is sufficiently big. The bed is comfy, and you got 4 pillows. Amenities are complete. You even got the premium glass water bottle. The room and hotel style is matching the Keraton style, so you got the Yogyakarta vibe upon staying , and this is very nice. The TV is loaded with Netflix, HBO, Prime, Disney+, and other local channels. Cabinet is surprisingly clean, despite its classic retro style looks. The hotel is right downtown, so it is near to go amywhere. Next to it there is a cafe, so I can get coffee and cake with ease. Plenty food to select on gofood nearby the hotel. It has car park. The hotel doesn’t have so many rooms, so it felt like very private, quiet, and comfortable. The best part is their staffs’ warm welcome and high quality service level. When I book the hotel, I made a mistake regarding the date (I think the app automatically changed to next week if I am booking it next day or something). So I ended up book for the following week. The app said this hotel is non-refundable and cannot adjust the check in time. I contacted the hotel directly and they are EXTREMELY nice and very accommodating. Despite the rules of non changing from the platform, they bypass the system and allow me to change to the date I plan to visit. So far, I only encounter this level of flexibility and assistance only when I was staying in a high end 5-stars hotel. Therefore, big thumbs up for the hotel management! 👍👍👍

Very close to Yogyakarta train station and Malioboro. Breakfast is good. The room is very tiny so no space for big luggages. The worst thing is the room doesn't have soundproofing so we can hear the train sound all night (& all day) and the street & vehicles noises outside. I stayed for 2 nights and as a light sleeper I could not sleep for the whole 2 nights due to the outside noises.
