"Overall a nice hotel, very close to the JR train station, just a couple of minutes walk away. The room size was very generous a lot bigger than others we’ve stayed at in Japan. The bathroom was also very spacious with a full size bath and powerful shower. The hotel provides nightwear and toiletries as well as coffee and laundry. Breakfast has a good variety of choices although can we quite busy as peak times and items do run out. I would recommend as a good convenient choice if travelling by train."

Outstanding
This getaway was exactly what I wanted. Traditional, immersive, comfortable, accomodating. The staff came and greeted us in the car park, the dinner and breakfast was amazing, delicious, adventurous. And the onsen on the roof was perfect! The staff thoroughly explained their processes. I spoke some japanese and they spoke only some english but they were very accomating with us and welcoming. I would highly recommend and its also not far from town either. It snowed a little the night we stayed and it was so magical! We had our own private onsen at our room but the others in the ryokan are even better and available to be private, just lock door when your using.
This was a very lovely resort! The view from our room was breathtaking! We called for pick-up from the train station and waited about 10 minutes. The next morning our ride back to the train station was waiting when we arrived in the lobby. The beds were prepared at 6pm. Dinner was reservation only, which we did not have. We walked 20 minutes into the little town to a hidden gem Ramen shop that opened at 7pm and the food was amazing.
The hotel has a great location. The staff were excellent and very helpful with everything, including the itinerary. We were very satisfied. Two of the staff members spoke Mandarin, which made the hotel even more welcoming. The included breakfast and dinner were of high quality and excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot spring water was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely choose this hotel again if we have the chance.
The plan included breakfast. The selection was extensive, and everything looked so delicious I wanted to eat it all. I tried my best to eat a variety of things. There was a wide variety of bread, and the croissants were delicious. For the large public bath, women can get a key from the front desk, but if there are other guests, they have to wait. Around 9 p.m., I had to wait for over an hour, which was inconvenient. I hope they can improve this.
