1 night 2 day, to go to Sakata fireworks festival I used 3 rooms for 6 families. I was saved by changing the check-in time zone for this convenience. I didn't tell you that there was an elderly person, so it was a room that went up the steep stairs, so I learned that if I told you at the time of booking from the next time, I might be given a little preferential treatment. Although it is a very old building, the exterior has been renovated and the inside has been cleaned cleanly. The corridor was shiny even if I walked barefoot. I didn't use it because brown water came out of the water supply in the bathroom in the room. I think it is better to bring earplugs when sleeping because I can hear the voice and snoring of the next guest. There is no toilet in the room. There was one bath for men and women, and it was a bath with a slightly larger bathtub and 3 showers for women. About 4 people entered at the same time. It was available until 12 o'clock at night. I could use it around 6 o'clock in the morning. Breakfast was a dish that made the nutritionally balanced body happy, mainly vegetables, and it was very delicious. Clean room, good location in the middle of town, a nice (but small) onsen but the cherry on top was the delightful lady at the front desk who was lovely to talk to and also helped me tie up yukata (something I'm terrible at). It was great to meet someone as friendly as that after weeks on the road.

Small and clean, but the air vent kept making weird knocking noises throughout the night and there's nothing the staff could do to fix that. Seems like those knocking noises came from the wind backflowing into the vents or something? Couldn't get a good night's sleep at all. Nonetheless the staff was very patient with my questions. There's a public bath on the first floor, but it's disappointingly small with only four showers, and the onsen pool gets crowded with only five persons in it.
