Guest UserI got scammed by the taxi driver from the airport to the hotel. He said the price had gone up to ten dollars since February/March, but it's usually five or six. The hotel's location is excellent, right by the sea, so you can watch the sunrise from the balcony in the morning. The living room is shared with another room, and it's fully equipped with a washing machine, fridge, and stove. The hotel price is good value. There are plenty of convenient places to eat and shop nearby. The paid self-service breakfast is a local specialty, affordable and delicious, with freshly made milk tea, other drinks, juice, and bottled water, all for about 70 local currency, which is less than four US dollars. The restaurant owner was very honest; he told me his exchange rate wasn't good enough and directed me to a place where I could get 21 local currency for one US dollar. Great value for money. If I ever return to Hulhumale, I'll definitely stay here again.

shining1987This is beyond frustrating. I booked a room that was over 500 RMB more expensive just for the airport pickup service, only to be told upon arrival that it wasn't included. This wasted so much of my time. What's more, the 'special car' they arranged wasn't even exclusive; they tried to charge me an extra $15! And I had to wait a long time because the pickup person prioritized other customers first, even though we were the first to land.
The hotel's hygiene is genuinely concerning. As soon as I entered, there was a large flying insect. The room mirror was directly facing the bed, and there were unexplained stains on the sheets. It was far from clean.
I saw positive reviews claiming it's suitable for Chinese guests. I just want to say, can't we Chinese be honest with each other?
At best, it feels like a 3-star hotel from an underdeveloped region in China. For this price, they're really treating Chinese customers like they're from New York and charging them excessively.

XiaohuiGloriaThe duvet and sheets felt a bit old and had a slight, unpleasant smell. The bathroom wasn't well-ventilated and also had a bit of an odor. Soundproofing was decent, probably because there weren't many guests, so no one was next door. The cakes and pasta at the downstairs restaurant were delicious, and the Korean fried chicken was really good – a must-order! Breakfast was also good, with hot Americano coffee available. The beach across the street was a bit dirty. Overall, for a transit hotel, it's pretty much what you'd expect. We waited quite a while for the airport pickup because it was a shared shuttle, which is understandable. The morning drop-off to the airport for our flight to another island was very quick.

They actually let me check in earlier and even though I didn’t spend many days here I got a say the place is clean and the stuff is nice. Very helpful.

Guest UserThis is a fantastic transit hotel in the Maldives. You step right out to the stunning ocean with amazing sea views. The overall environment is clean and refreshing, and the front desk staff are attentive and thoughtful. The seafood ramen at the downstairs restaurant was surprisingly delicious, absolutely amazing. The room was tidy and comfortable, making it a great transitional stay before heading to the island. It's perfect for couples.

This was my first stay at this guesthouse. I booked it because the rate was very cheap, and you really get what you pay for.
I paid USD 34 for an overnight stay (although we did not actually stay overnight, as we only needed the room for day use due to our late evening flight).
The building does not have an elevator and the room is located on the second floor, which made it very difficult for guests with large luggage.
There was construction next to my room, and unfortunately I was not able to rest before my flight. I was informed by the staff that it would only be until 4:00 PM, but the drilling and hammering continued until 6:00 PM.
There were no toiletries provided; instead, there were some used toiletries left in the room. There was also a little unpleasant smell in the room.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Teagan Garden Hotel. It is actually more like a small motel rather than a hotel. Although the remodeling looks clean, everything else was disappointing.
First, it is located in a residential area, and the surrounding neighborhood looks unsafe. There were men staring at us, and the roads were extremely dirty — much worse than I expected. The motel is actually called “Reagar Hotel” without the word “Garden,” which was confusing.
The room was very tiny — you can barely squeeze between the bed and the bathroom. In addition, the hotel charged a $20 transfer fee.
Breakfast was very limited: just two pieces of bread, one egg, two small sausages, and half a sour apple. There were no other options.
I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

The hotel is right on the beach and has great little shops for lunch and breakfast right next to it. Very convenient transportation, the hotel will arrange someone to pick you up from the airport.

kelkonsStayed here for a night with my friend before we headed to the resorts. The exterior of the hotel looked nice and modern, and the receptionists helped us with our luggage. Checked in was 2/3pm and we arrived early, had to come back in a while since the room wasnt ready but not a big issue. Located next to the beach, we could easily walk over to the beach and shops. One thing would be how there was no hot water and we had to shower with cold water. And had also encountered a small cockroach... But overall the room was spacious, could easily have our luggage lying openly and still had space to walk around, and had an outdoor balcony (but shared with your neighbor, so will be awkward if you happen to see your neighbor outside when you open your curtains).
