Valkenburg Hotels with Breakfast

"The service was excellent. The staff were very accommodating; since my husband had a meeting, they allowed me to check into the room earlier. Regarding the amenities, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but you can order pizza if you like. However, there are two restaurants about 50 meters from the hotel, so that's perfectly fine. The breakfast was good, though unfortunately, for the jam, honey, and chocolate spread, they use containers, similar to other hotels we've recently stayed at, where what comes out for the jam is more like syrup than actual jam. The room was surprisingly designed, with the toilet separate from the bathroom, but that's common in Mercure hotels. My husband also complained that the water temperature fluctuated while he was showering, though I didn't experience that."
