"The hotel is very well located with very friendly and competent staff, good service, friendlyness and information. The hotel was very clean and well-signified, and the room was comfortable enough but there was a small table because there was nowhere to put the computer for normal use. Not so the bath was completely insufficient by the size of the bath. It was just in, and for example to use the washing machine simply to wash your hands was swallowed the whole floor as it was ”minimalist” of 30x20 cm.; the cup of the bathroom without little place and the shower-mampara just to be able to move. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable."

GGuest UserLocated in the centre of Coimbra, near the river and all the main tourist attractions of the city. The room was very comfortable and comfortable (by saying something the coats are of viscolatex are very hard, high) . The shower and toilet recreates the Joanina Library very original and comfortable with crystal mampares.
The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. We were kept in the baggage until afternoon without cost.

etc. The young ladies at the reception were so kind & caring. The room, bed & bathroom were all spacious.

GGuest UserWe stayed two nights in apartment 2.2 - one bedroom with a small office room which has a desk and single bed. Location was great, being right off the main pedestrian ***** in the old town area, so very atmospheric and convenient for restaurants. Check-in is at Hotel Oslo, about 4min walk away so you will have to walk with your luggage for a few minutes, including up some stairs. The apartment building also does not have a lift, so you will need to be able to carry your luggage up stairs within the building. I don't think you would be able to call an Uber or taxi to the street in front of the building as it is very narrow so bear this in mind. Some other minor points I noticed about the apartment which you may find helpful:
- It directly faces another building on a narrow street, so the apartment doesn't really get natural sunlight
- There is a washer but no dryer - it took a whole day for our clothes to dry and the rack sat in the living room
- The apartment fittings are starting to feel a bit worn down

It was my wife’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. They even included a small cake with a candle for the in-room breakfast—such a thoughtful touch! The welcome sparkling wine and cake were also a delightful surprise. Their exceptional attention to detail and outstanding customer service truly set them apart. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!

GGuest UserWe very much enjoyed our stay at Coimbra Monumentais. The location is absolutely perfect being so close to the steps up to the University. The facilities were fine. My only suggestion for improvement is to automatically send the check in information rather than asking us to ask for it. I missed that point in the reservation. Most of our stays were with Air BnB and they automatically send the information a day or two in advance. We came to the back door (the 7A address) and had an issue with getting in. Once in, we were very well looked after. Thanks so much to Mariannna!

Location: Superb location, right at a bustling intersection in the heart of the old city.
Service: We arrived quite early, and the front desk staff kindly stored our luggage. Upon check-out, they proactively offered advice on the best way to reach the high-speed train station.
We had an early high-speed train to Lisbon the next morning, and since the hotel's breakfast service started a bit late, we opted for a packed breakfast. It included one sandwich, a carton of soy milk, a carton of juice, and a banana. Compared to similar packed breakfasts we've had at other hotels, this felt quite basic. Had we known the breakfast timing in advance, we definitely wouldn't have chosen to include it with our booking.

GGuest UserThe staff was very kind and detailed to introduce the hotel facilities and let us check in early. The breakfast was hygienic and delicious. Breakfast was served until 10:30. Check out at 12 o'clock gave me ample time to organize my luggage. It was very intimate. The housekeeping staff took the clothes we left in the room to us in time. I'll choose this hotel if I have a chance.

Eu fiz uma reserva, recebi um comjunto de documentos (voucher, factura e confirmação de reserva e pagamento), no entanto, em nenhum desses documentos foi incluido o numero do quarto nem o codigo de acesso à chave.
Entrei em contacto com a propriedade, informando que iria viajar de noite e chegar de madrugada. Comuniquei essa informação por escrito na reserva. A propriedade confirmou que não haveria problema, porque com o código poderia entrar quando quisesse. Os documentos que me enviaram apenas dispunha de um PIN de 4 digitos que eu acreditei ser o codigo de acesso à chave e ao quarto. Nao. O código não funciou, os telefones de serviço da propriedade nunca foram atendidos. Na cidade contactei outros hoteis que alegadameente estavam completos. Fiz mais de 20 chamadas para os numeros que me disponibilizaram. Conclusão: passei a noite na rua. Paguei e dormi no carro, ao frio e sem qualquer conforto. Apenas me devolveram a chamada já passava das 7 da manhã.
