Bergen County Hotels with Breakfast

Excellent hotel, fresh towels every day and a fresh breakfast (potatoes, sausage, omelet, pancakes, apples, bananas, porridge, cereal, yogurt). The main attractions of New York are 40 minutes away, and a shuttle bus to New York stops right outside the hotel. The rooms are spacious, the pillows are comfortable.

The hotel room layout was nice with most amenities needed. Fresh coffee is available all day in the lobby area. However, the room and building interior were a bit aged. There were some stained spots on the carpet in our room. Fitness room was clean and sanitized but lack of weight machines. There were only some drum bells only. The hotel location is convenient as it is right next to a big gas station with a convenient store for a quick stop for snacks and drinks. Woodbury Common outlet is around 20 minutes drive. Hotel breakfast was good with variety of hot and cold food to choose from. Temperature control in the room was fine with digital control. Front desk staff was very helpful.

The hotel is generally old, the sound insulation of the rooms is very poor, and the wallpaper is mottled and peeling, but the water pressure and temperature are still stable, and you can still take a hot bath on a cold day. PS. In the morning, the cleaning staff would keep knocking on the door or trying to enter the room. In the end, they just put a do not disturb card to avoid the ridiculous thing of breaking in. But as mentioned, the sound insulation is very poor, and the corridor is full of people walking around and talking. the sound of cleaning

The hotel is very good, one room and one living room with kitchen and dishwasher. Better than the hotel

It's an old hotel with good service and relatively complete facilities.

Our room is in the 4th floor, but all the kitchen smells will come to the room with the ventilation system. It’s is really a bad issue because any respiratory disease will be transmitted freely in this hotel. The quilts are extremely uncomfortable.

The screen door to the balcony was broken and the screen ripped apart from its door frame. It would not close all the way or lock. The second issue is the refrigerator was broken and froze everything I put in it. I lost the food I put in it due to it being frozen solid. the back of the refrigerator was completely caked with ice and when I told front desk and asked if the Bistro was still open a few minutes before it was scheduled to close, I got a ”sorry” and the cook was cleaning up and would not make something to replace the lunch I had lost. There was no microwave in the room which would have helped me in this instance, and would help other visitors in the future. The last issue is the bathtub/shower and the most important one. The floor of the tub was not protected with any kind of slip-resistant materials and was as slippery as ice. I did slip when I took a shower but luckily I was able to catch my fall. At 74 years of age, that could have been devastating for me and, in the long run, for the hotel as well. I notified the front desk about this and asked if they had any kind of rubber mat or something I could use to avoid possibly falling and, again, the answer was the same as it was for the refrigerator; i.e. ”I'm sorry.” I was then given two cloth bath mats to put in the shower.

This hotel offers a very convenient location, especially for those driving. It's situated right off the highway, making it incredibly easy to access. A heads-up for other travelers: this prime location does mean you can encounter some traffic noise during peak hours, but it's a fair trade-off for the easy access. The service was consistently nice and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a functional stay with a great location.

The hotel is really nice, the details are very well done in all aspects, the front desk lady Lan Lan's service is very good, the check-in is very warm, can be considered for the guests, very satisfied 👍

The hotel is right on Rout 4 West and within walking distance to the famous Korean H Mart and a Korean sauna place with a few restaurants at reasonable prices. Easy to cross the GW Bridge into Manhattan with Lyft or Uber. Shell station nearby offers food and beverage 24 hours. Parking lot is huge. Rooms are sound proof. Breakfast is basic but doable and free flow of beverage 24 hours 7 days. Shower water pressure in my room 230 is low. Heater is a bit noisy but you can shut it down as the room is well insulated.
