Cracking little pub, staff super friendly. Serve a lovely pint of Bierre Morretti. We stayed here the night before our holiday, and what a lovely place!! They allow you to leave your car there and they drop you to the airport which we didn’t realise. Would 100% stay there again

Booked this stay about 2 weeks before we were due to travel. Fabulous pub with 2 rooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The pub food was excellent. Only downside for me was carting 2 suitcases up the small windy stairs. As an old pub this isn’t unexpected but was tricky so something to keep in mind. The tv in the room was also pretty small but as was only a stopover before the airport this wasn’t an issue. I’d definitely stay here again. The airport was about a 10 min drive from here which was great. Staff were also really lovely and friendly

Firstly, may we start with thanking your driver Bobak for his professional service to and from the airport. He was a pleasant man. Check-in seemed straight forward enough although a foreign lady behind the bar told us incorrect information about the transfer to the airport ( see details further down). She took us to the room via an extremely steep rickety & narrow staircase with only 1 handrail. This was far from safe especially for my partner whom has a disability. Maybe this was why the lady from reception escorted us to the room incase of an accident/health & safety hazard. No steps were of even height either. We got to our room (window facing the church). This room was far less than adequate and having seen the other room they both looked very similar. Very cold despite radiator on minimum and unable to turn the heat up. Bed had the cheapest bedding we have ever seen - the sheet was threadbare (see attached). Mould, wood-rot (what looks like) in bathroom halfway down on left of shower. Mould on possible skirting board of shower (see attached). Bathroom radiator (and bedroom one) was so very thick with dust and was rusty on the outside. (see attached). I suffer from Asthma, the amount of dust triggered it and I was unable to sleep. Window was so difficult to open & there was also no soap I'm dispenser Come the morning we waited at the front of the pub as instructed by the lady from check-in. Our pickup was arranged for 8.15am and we waited in the pouring rain & high winds since 8am, having messaged Aydin a number of times (see attached), we had no answer from him. We were distressed as no car showed for our transfer. By 8.40am we went round to the car park battling the weather with our luggage and saw a red Skoda was waiting for us. Bobak was surprised when we said we were waiting outside the front and that the lady at check-in must have given us the wrong information. We finally got on our way to the airport setting off by 8.45am. As you can imagine our stress levels were high having waited 40/45mins and worried we would be late for check-in. I suffer with severe anxiety and panic attacks - this was not the way we wanted to start our holiday. We finally received a message from Aydin at 17:36pm that same day (once we were abroad), to say he had broken his mobile hence the reason for him not responding at the time of the transfer issue. No contingency was in place which is very poor customer service. With all of the above considered, we strongly believe the whole experience was far from value for money. To reiterate, the actual journey (minus the 40/45min wait and genuine anxiety caused which we believe as the check-in lady's fault, not Bobaks) to/from the airport with Bokak was fine, albeit a tiny uncomfortable car).

My Wife and I stayed here before our flight at Bristol airport. The place - really lovely picturesque pub in a small Village. Perfectly located for a short hop to the airport. Lovely beer garden and nice selection of drinks and food The staff - super friendly and welcoming. Really nice people The room - nice standard room, comfy bed. The price - very reasonable considering how close to the airport you are. Generally my wife and I saw this as a perfect start to the holiday. It’s not the ritz, but it’s clean convenient and friendly. You feel a proper personal touch. Negative - the only negative is the shower, it’s ether scolding hot or freezing. I couldn’t feed this back because we left early. If you’re looking for a stop before flights I’d recommend. Next Bristol flight we will 100% stay again.

From the outside this looked a lovely pub, very old and traditional looking. We thought we’d book a table for the following Sunday as it looked nice with fantastic views over Bristol. Once we’d ordered up what we wanted (2x beef and 1x lamb) the food came literally in two minutes which we all thought was very quick, but didn’t say anything. The food was all lukewarm for starters, the meat was vac packed and the vegetables certainly were not locally sourced like they advertise outside and tasted of rubber. It was obvious it had been lying around and as one of our party was immunosuppressed they couldn’t eat part of theirs because of the risk of it having been potentially exposed for too long. As soon as we finished, we left promptly, all still quite hungry and disappointed with the quality of the meal. It was quite literally the equivalent of what you’d expect from a school kitchen. Not to be repeated.

Went for Mothering Sunday. Had a lovely roast dinner and mim had a home made steak pie which was fab. The best bit though was the absolutely wonderful, friendly and professional staff. Every single one if them were truly exceptional. Many thanks to all.

We have had several orders from Dundry Inn and the last one we had was not the best. Unfortunately after leaving a 4 star review on just eat we had a somewhat confrontational response after giving our opinion on the portion size of one dish. Very disappointing as we have ordered from them several times, but the response will now stop us ordering from them ever again. I would suggest they rethink their attitude to customers who aren’t happy. Not the way to keep loyal customers and as a result we will never order from them again. They also own the carpenters tavern and the robins which we will also now never order from.

A 5star village pub, rooms are very clean with loads of tea, drinks and mini breakfast cereals in the room. We had dinner in the pub, worth every penny, Ribeye steak was thick and done perfectly medium, the fish comes with deliciously done vegetables, sauce and baby potatoes. A well found gem .
