Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre
8.4 (29 reviews)

Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre ★★★

📍 Bond St, Saint Paul's, Bristol

"I had an excellent three night stay at the hotel, in a spacious and superclean room at the rear of the hotel on the first floor. The bed was supremely comfortable, and the shower room excellent with lovely toiletries. The staff are friendly and efficient, and there was a great breakfast with everything you could possibly want. The rear of the hotel overlooked an open square with some parking (pay and display) and if you walk diagonally across this area, there is a delightful little cemetery, which has been made into a tranquil little park with unusual artwork and lovely planting. I would definitely stay here again, and intend to next time I visit Bristol. "

📍 Victoria St, Redcliffe, Bristol

"Good.location with its own underground carpark and shops/pubs t mins walk away, decent sized hotel in quite good clean condition. My room had a knocking noise coming from pipes in the bathroom wall, but they did offer to move me. There is a gym on the 4th floor but my room card wouldn't allow access to it for some reason.."

"The location is close to the Bristol Temple Meads train station, about 5-minute walk. Not too far from the City Centre shopping area, about 15-20 minute walk. The room is quite spacious and staff are friendly. Breakfast was good. It would be great if more varieties for breakfast can be offered."

📍 Marsh Street, Bristol

"Stayed for three nights straight. Overall, it was pretty quiet at night, even though it's in the city center, it wasn't overly noisy. The front desk service was quite good. I'd consider staying here again next time I'm in town. Not bad at all."

DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre

"Starting with the check in process, everything was very smooth and hassle free. We were given a room on the higher floor as requested. The view from the room was decent I would say. You could see a part of the city and the faraway hills. We managed to catch glimpse of wonderful sunrise so that's a plus. We did not try the food there so can not comment. The check-out process was also seamless. Pro: Location Clean rooms Staff Con: Price a bit expensive"

Future Inn Bristol Hotels in Bristol

Future Inn Bristol

"A comfortable enough stay at the Future Inn. Though our room was a bit noisy from constant traffic outside on busy multi lane road. We had requested a room facing the rear but one may not have been available - though we remarked that the hotel did not seem busy.We appreciated the easy parking arrangements. And the buffet breakfast was well above average for this type of hotel. On a previous stay our room was showing definite signs of wear and tear, but on this occasion we thought the standard of decor etc was a little higher. Would stay again if we could do so for a fair price."

"The staff are so lovely! We traveled from swansea to stay the night . The deputy manager as well as her daughter were incredible they calmed us for our stay as well as helping with directions as we had no idea where to go. The lady behind the bar was also amazing and told us places to visit. Breakfast was lovely as well as our room. Will definitely be returning soon "

Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel ★★★★
"The good things about the hotel were its location. Close to restaurants, a famous Banksy or two, lots of shops and theatres. Is a beautiful hotel with nice places to sit and meet if you are in a group. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The car park, despite being £17 per night, was actually better value than other options nearby and we were able to leave the car there until midnight on the day of check out. The negatives were that we were not able to get a reservation in the hotel restaurant which we found unusual. We had a group from 8 to 80 so we were worried about walking yet had no choice as they couldn’t fit us in. They were also impossible to contact as they didn’t reply to messages. There was chaos at check in with guests waiting for up to an hour to check in and get their keys. There were long queues for over two hours from 3pm to at least 5pm. Their excuse was that the hotel was fully booked but it’s not as though they didn’t know all those people were coming! They should have been prepared and there were a lot of unhappy customers that Saturday evening. Some front desk staff were flustered and sorry but couldn’t do anything about it and some didn’t seem to care. We were there a bit earlier so they could have got the process started but they wouldn’t so we had to queue twice. We were quite fed up. Even after all that and me paying £68 for 4 cars I had to keep repeating that I had already paid that and the next day. Something in the system needs to change as it’s frustrating to spend 2 hours checking in when you are only staying for 1 night. Perhaps if they are expecting so many people again they could put out tea and coffee in the tea lounge with a screen to enter and pay for your car and then have some kind of ticket system where you are called to the desk when it’s your turn. It certainly needs better management as it’s not the welcome you expect when you’ve paid to stay in the Marriott brand."

"The room was a bit small, and the hotel had a classic/vintage feel. Although official check-in is at 3 PM, they allowed early check-in if a room was available. It's only a 5-minute taxi ride from the train station, and there are many restaurants nearby."

"Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are lovely and really cool in the hot summer days! The hotel is well kept and clean too but the only downside was the parking. Limited spaces and no availability to park meant having to park at a car park further down and paying £26! The hotel itself is lovely and would definitely recommend."
