Bristol Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel was really great. It was very clean, so I highly recommend it for anyone who values cleanliness.There was a separate room for ironing. The room itself had a hairdryer, TV, an electric kettle, and plenty of coffee and tea. They also offered us a welcome drink when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby had lots of entertainment options and games. There was also a really nice bar, and people were still playing games there until late at night. The hotel also had a gym. It was close to a shopping centre, and the train station was about a 20-minute walk away. I definitely recommend

Easy check in. Ideal location for flying from Bristol Airport. Early breakfast was available (continental) from 4am with plenty of choice including freshly ground coffee. For those not leaving as early as us, cooked breakfast started at 6am. Room was very clean and fresh, well kept. Bathroom was modern with walk in shower. Plenty of choice of food and quality was reasonable. Obviously drinks are at a premium as its next to the airport. Thoroughly satisfied with both hotel price and facilities. Would visit again.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, close to Temple Meads train station, and it's about a 20-minute walk to the main city attractions. Although the room's interior is simple, it has all the essential amenities, including air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom also comes with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The bed was very comfortable as well. The front desk staff were all very helpful and polite. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Convenient location. Clean. Bathroom is small but functional. Water pressure is not very strong and water temperature can fluctuate. On the 3rd night, there was no hot water but receptionist was quick to offer a compensation for the inconvenience. There is one set of washer/dryer on the 3rd floor and cost £1 per wash/dry

Everything was fine except the ac heating was not working even it is adjusted to 30 degrees it was cold as winter so had to put on my coat. The room was clean but there were hairs on the towel and inside the sink. Apart from these the reception staff was so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Overall, Novotel Bristol Centre is a classic-style hotel that is clean and offers all the basic amenities you need. The location is excellent, and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the train station. They also serve a classic full English breakfast in the morning. Following up on my previous review, I'd like to point out a few areas for improvement for future reference. Firstly, the breakfast offerings are still quite uninspired. While this seems to be common across the UK, with a high percentage of Asian guests, perhaps you could consider offering a wider variety of options in the future? After these past few days, I don't think I'll be having a similar breakfast for a long time. Secondly, my elevator experience was very unsatisfactory. For seven out of my eight-day stay, at least one elevator was out of service. I never saw all three elevators working simultaneously. The far-right elevator was even so dark that I had to use a flashlight, which frankly made me feel uneasy. Finally, there's the issue of the in-room drinking water quality! Perhaps you could consider changing your water supplier. After boiling, this water leaves too much limescale and genuinely tastes bad. This forced me to buy bottled mineral water from M&S instead. One point that absolutely deserves a negative rating: Gimi, the front desk attendant during check-out, was not very friendly. My English has deteriorated somewhat over the past year, and when I repeatedly asked her to clarify what she was saying, she looked visibly impatient, which was very unpleasant. Please strengthen your staff's customer service training! Overall, the stay was still pretty good. I hope to see some changes in these areas when I return next year.

We were given the 5th floor at first, and the room was small and dark. By the way, the lack of lights in the room is a small problem. We stayed here as a group of four in two separate rooms. We chose the hotel partly because of its rustic style, but after this stay we realised that this type of accommodation was not really for us. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with an extremely hot week in the UK, and the biggest issue was the temperature in the rooms. There was no proper cooling, only small fans, and they were not enough at all. One of our rooms became extremely hot during the day, while the other was very uncomfortable at night. Because of the heat, we had to leave the room earlier than planned. There was also no lift, which may be expected in some older UK buildings, but it is still something to keep in mind. Cleanliness was average, but I cannot say it was particularly impressive. Overall, it was not a very comfortable stay for us. The building has character, but the room conditions, especially during hot weather, made the experience difficult. I personally would not choose to stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop from which the University of Bristol, the Bristol Bus and Coach Station, and Temple Meads station are easily accessible. I appreciated the detox water with lemon slices that they offer in the lobby. The room is quite small, and the lights are dim. However, it is comfy enough for a few days in the city.
