Hotel Ling Bao, Phantasialand Erlebnishotel

I decided to stay in this hotel since I wanted to stay in the park until its closure. I decided to stay in this particular one since it was Asia-themed. It was amazing, it really seemed to be in Asia. When I posted the pictures of it everybody kept asking if I were in Japan. Not only was the theming breathless from the outside, with its beautiful garden and the shape, but also the rooms had an Eastern vibe. What really stood out to me was that also the hotel room had details connected to the rides of the park (there was a fake newspaper with some news about one the themed areas of the park, Rookburgh). I have never seen and I will never see again something like this, such a good themed hotel. The staff was amazing, they will be in my heart forever, especially the man at the entrance of the garden, but also the receptionists and the people responsible for breakfast! The advantage that came with the hotel were: - a quick pass for one of those attractions (Colorado Adventure, Winja's Fear, Winja's Force, Chiapas, Talocan or Maus au Chocolat) - queues opening 15 minutes before the park opening One can leave all the luggages in the luggage room before the check-in at 3.30 pm. In the room you can find: - a bottle of sparkling water with a glass -a lot of sockets, also near the bed - wooden floor (amazing if you have got some allergy) - hairdryer - a large amount of towels, both for hands/face/shower and for the pool - a sofa - a desk with a large classy seat - double bed + two other beds with a lot of pillows, all very comfortable The bathroom was huge and with one of the largest and most beautiful showers I have ever seen. There was a dispenser for the hand soap and another dispenser in the shower that was for both body and hair. In the hall you can find a bar and also a billiard room. In the garden there are a lot of tables and chairs, a warm pool (that is both indoor and outdor) and a lot of beach loungers. The breakfast at their restaurant (Bamboo) was exceptional. A lot of gravoury food, but also sweet and above all Asian food, which I loved!

Upon arrival at the reception, we were greeted coldly by the staff, without a smile. Regarding breakfast, there were no available slots except at 7 AM, and it was not mentioned anywhere that we needed to make a reservation in advance. At the restaurant, although the food selection was extensive, the kitchen staff did not understand German well and did not smile either. Regarding the rooms, they are spacious and clean, and even with the simplified decor, they make you want to stay and sleep there. Regarding the pool, it is advertised as heated, but this was not the case because after 10 minutes, we had to leave as our little boy was shivering from the cold. We will see how things go tomorrow at the park.

We stayed at the family room at Hotel Ling Bao. We arrived early and managed to get an earlier check in. The hotel is very traditional Chinese with a lot of nice perks (steam room, UV sauna, heated swimming pool). Breakfast is quite standard as we expected a lot more Asian food. Super convenient to stay here if you plan to visit the park. It’s literally in and out to the park from our hotel pool area.

Beautiful and beautifully situated hotel. We slept here on a weekday evening during the winter event. This made it quiet, except for a company event at breakfast. The room was perfect, bathroom well maintained. Breakfast was well taken care of, including a chef who prepared dishes on request. The only downside was that our table had already been cleared while we were still getting food.

Very beautiful hotel in Phantasialand. The hotel has Asian based interior design. The lobby is impressive with big attention to the detail. The rooms are new or recently renovated, very beautiful inside. The bathroom is perfect. Everything is spotless clean. The bed is big and comfy. Our room can accommodate two adults and two children. The kids bunk bed is separated by a curtain. There is a complimentary bottle of sparkling water. We found the room comfortable and stylish. The check in was a bit slow but eventually everything was fine. The receptionist had everything prepared (park entry tickets, free fast track per person for one attraction, map of the park and a few good advices) and the process was efficient. The rooms were ready and after a quick preparation we went to the park. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

We generally liked the China themed hotel which is hopelessly overpriced but well located next to the amusement park. The website indicated that no pre-booking is needed for the restaurant for dinner and we ended up having to drive miles away to get food with an eight year old because they were supposedly booked out - with many empty tables visible inside and outside. This was a buffet style dinner, so easy to squeeze ppl in. The arrogance, rudeness and lack of helpfulness was outright shocking and ruined our day. So so so disappointing and upsetting to be told to read „the other fineprint“ by the restaurant manager.
