Wasn't impressed to receive text whilst abroad to say if we checked in late our room could be let. We were flying back and couldn't guarantee getting there at 3 pm. Had to get family member to call to explain. There are 2 Travelodges, one each side of the motorway. We booked the westbound one. Both have the same postcode. Our satnav only recognised Eastbound side. Result was they couldn't find our reservation. Apparently this happens a lot. Staff redirected us so only a few minutes and a few miles delay. Our arrival delayed by difficulty at Heathrow,ie Terminal change and over an hour and a half hours delay before passengers could access luggage reclaim. Staff shortages. Arrived at nearly midnight. Only Costa open at services. However, staff at hotel helpful. Situation good and quiet despite proximity to M4. We were very pleasantly surprised. Room clean and plenty of space, bed comfortable, coffee-making facility welcome. Bathroom fine and water hot. Slept really
well and plenty of choice for breakfast with services placed only a few yards away but not causing any noise problem at the hotel. Enjoyable stay. Pity about postcode confusion
Maybe explanation to take westbound services turnoff given on website when booking would avoid confusion and save people being taken to the eastbound site. We were worried when satnav told us to pass westbound services but assumed hotel was approached by another turnoff shortly after. It would have made our arrival far less fraught to have been aware of the fact there were Travelodges BOTH sides of motorway. The hotel itself was good and gave us a comfortable night.

Great location just 35 mins from Heathrow airport. Just an overnight stay but everything was good. Will definitely stay again

Ranjiv was very helpful. And I was soo thankful for his kindness would definitely stay here again Car parking is free beds were nice and comfy and I have just booked to stay for a longer duration . Great services next door too very kind and helpful staff

Stayed here Thursday to Sunday with my husband and 3 kids. We had to book 2 rooms as they only do rooms for up to 4 people. I would be better if they did bigger rooms as not all families are families of 4. Thankfully my eldest child is 16 so was more than happy to have his own room. We traveled 5 hours and arrived quite late but the lady on the desk gave us a warm welcome. I asked if our rooms were close together. She said they weren't but there was a room a couple of doors down from ours that was free so she swapped them for us. Which was great. We were given our keys and sent on our way. Rooms are basic but that's all we needed and didn't expect much more for the cheap price we paid. Bath, shower, toilet and heated mirror in the bathroom. A pile of fresh towels left for each of us. A double bed and 2 single beds, shelves for clothes, dressing table with chair, a small Freeview TV and a chair in the corner. Kettle with a cup and spoon for all of us and a small pot of tea, coffee, sugar and sweetener. We took a cool box with us with uht milk which we did need as you only get a few little pots of milk in the room. 1 pillow for each of us, my husband and I did take 2 spare from our son's room but they were so hard, I struggled to sleep on these pillows I wish I'd took my own from home but the rest of the family didn't have an issue. We got a few to good to go bags from the service station during our stay so our cool box came in handy for them too saving us some money on lunches. We came here primarily to go to Legoland which is only a half an hour drive away from here making it a great location. We also took the kids to the cinema 10 mins away in reading during our stay too. The shower was great. The room was hot we had the fan on every night. We couldn't open the window as it was noisy from motorway traffic but you couldn't hear this with the window closed. Disappointed that the park outside was closed the kids really wanted to go on it.

Most Travelodges follow the same formula but I can 100% recommend this one: it’s always immaculately clean which for me is very important. But what sets it apart from most of the other Travelodges I stay in for work are the staff - always so pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here to break up a long drive. I was very worried that I would be kept awake by the motorway sounds. I didn't hear a thing all night, slept very well and will be staying again in the future. The room was clean, tidy and smelt pleasant. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Amenities on site were also excellent and well maintained. I'm surprised it only has a 2 star rating
