Las Vegas Hotel Calella

Booked to stay here at the end of the season. This meant there were only about a dozen people at the hotel, which was great. However, even if it were full, it would have been lovely anyway. The place was clean, the food was good, the room was adequate and the view from the balcony was lovely. Had a small problem with room which was sorted within a few mins. Definitely recommended.

Booked through SUNSHINE HOLIDAY ( online) Paid for a minibus shuttle but got a clapped out , Dirty bus . The Hotel from the exterior looked nice Inside was very different from the photos on the website. No kettle . Tea or Coffee making facility in bedroom. The fridge was disgusting with mould , stains and smelt awful. The walls badly stained with paint falling off and in places Blood stained. The bedroom was infested with Ants to which they got into my bed and I received numerous bites over my body . The main entrance for the lift was Filthy, Terrible smell of Mould and Damp . We booked half board but honestly you could not eat the food . If you complain you got grunted at . I enclose photos that do not Tell Lies I paid Sunshine Holidays to which they apologised but sent my complaint to the Hotel Provider??

We have just come back from here. We were booked for 9 nights but left early. We dont take much notice of reviews showing broken tiles etc. We dont expect perfection. But this hotel isnt anything like the photos. The pool is tiny, with walls all round, and dirt floating in it. The whole place is run down. Bed mattresses old and stained and very uncomfortable, like camp beds. In our room there was a mini fridge that didn't work. I kept reporting it but nothing. But the reason we left was THE FOOD! It was shocking! Again we weren't expecting great food, but it was inedible, as cold. Meal times are 2 hours and it is not touched, so if you go for dinner after half an hour, the food looks stale. I told them it was cold and the lady there said no its kept warm and pointed to lights, so I said try it then, she did, then said "oh". That was it, i reported to reception too. Basically reception are polite, and take all the complaints, but nothing is done. The food was all cheap, bland, little choice, rock hard bread rolls. We watched the lady lifting all salad items in bowls on to a trolley at end of service. Then they all reappear the next meal, same rubbish. We were spending alot on eating out every day. I dont usually complain when its little things and we often go to low star hotels, but this place is a dump

my daughter, granddaughter, and her friend stayed there it was the break from hell it was disgusting dirty sanitary items left in the bin. The room was smelly and very dirty she asked to be moved, and they put her in a room no better, so she asked to speak to a manager who was meant to call her they never did,so she paid to move to a different hotel dreadful treatment. Don't book this hotel

We went as a group of family friends during our road trip around the costa de Barcelona. This little hotel is super charming, the pool is awesome and the staff is always friendly. Nearby all of Calella´s entertainment.

This hotel is fantastic to stay with friends or family. Beautiful building close to town and the seaside, the balcony was perfect for sunbathing, the terrace by the pool lovely... we had super fun and everyone was very nice.
