Bowood Hotel Spa & Golf Resort

We stayed for 1 night, Dinner B&B were included in the autumn offer. The room was spotless, we used the Spa facilities. The pool was cool, however we enjoyed the jacuzzi & sauna. Dinner was good, the restaurant was very busy, we felt the staff were over run and they could have done with a few more experienced members on the team. Our bill was incorrect by £170 as they had duplicated the drinks order 4 bottles of champagne instead of 2!. Thankfully we checked it. We had a good nights sleep the bed & pillows really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with good service especially Rosie who had a lovely smile and gave us great service.

It was amazing from start to finish. It was a quick check inn. The room they gave us was amazing. The spa is great and it's lovely to see the deer and the house and grounds . The food was amazing. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

An overnight stay for a little TLC, restbite. From the perspective of the carpark it suggested that it was very busy, however the atmosphere was so relaxed, most probably on the golf course which looked amazing. The reception was quick and efficient, information about the hotel perfect. A trip to the spa did not disappoint, the massage I received from Layla was top class! Sauna properly hot and pool adequate. The restaurant in the evening did not disappoint, a varied selection for me the vegetarian but I have to say the eggs Florentine in the morning were disappointing, eggs hard in the middle, not what I expected Check out fast and efficient

Spent a day at Bowood yesterday. Started at the House & Gardens. The House & Gardens were immaculate and visiting the walled gardens was a wonderful experience. We then went to a high tea, which was our first high tea at Bowood. We were welcomed with a smile and excellent service. Great views of the golf course and grounds. The high tea included scones, sweet treats and sandwiches, we also had the choice of tea, coffee or soft drinks. Overall, it was a splendid day out with my mother and a very memorable experience. Thank you, Bowood.

Mrs Duds and I had a two-night dine and stay break in the spacious room 225 overlooking the Academy Course and could not fault a single element of our stay - from the round on the PGA Championship golf course, the massage in the elegant spa or the food choices and quality at dinner and breakfast. But what really made the stay special was the service from every member of staff - reception, bar, dinner, breakfast, pro shop and spa. They were all exceptional and could not do more to make our stay memorable. We’ll be back!

Family of 11 had a wonderful tea today. The full Monty Prosecco, sandwiches,scones and cakes. Obviously Lapsang tea. Well managed as our table in the dinning room was still occupied but they arranged for us in the library. A good move as it was probably a better place for us with 5 children. Thank you to the staff for a memorable visit.
